SBB's mom is close to Jeudy's mom, or he might even stay with them.

Miami became a big turnoff from SBB's mom last cycle...

TE/DE Darel Middleton.

Really would like to add this kid. Could grow into the big blocking TE we need.

From what I've seen, this is the most underranked player in the entire 2016 class. How the recruiting evaluators looked at his film and determined he's a 3* is a conundrum of Marcel Dareus levels.

If you want to see what a 5* TE/DE looks like, watch this guy's highlight tape on hudl. Absolute beast!

I believe so, I think Jerry is moving in full time with them since SBB and Calvin are leaving for college.

Wide receiver Rodney Scott (Miami/Southridge) just picked up an offer from Alabama, per his assistant coach David Cooney.

Crimson Tide area recruiter Mario Cristobal stopped by the school and made the verbal offer.

Louisville, West Virginia and Miami have also offered.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 15 wide receiver and the No. 16 prospect in Florida in the 2017 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

HIGGINS TALKS TIDE VISIT, NEW OFFER
John Garcia Jr.John Garcia Jr.
Recruiting Analyst

Alabama hosted a pair of Tennessee teammates on Saturday and each traveled home with plenty of positive things to say of the Crimson Tide program. One says Alabama leads and the other, 2017 four-star Tee Higgins, picked up a scholarship offer during his initial trip to town.

Already pegged as a four-star talent by Scout.com, Oak Ridge (Tenn.) rising-junior wide receiver Tee Higgins has compiled a nice verbal scholarship offer list to go along with the rating. The in-state Tennessee Volunteers, fellow SEC programs LSU and Georgia as well as ACC programs Clemson and North Carolina all extended prior to the weekend.

But on Saturday, the hope was from Higgins was to earn an offer from a school he was visiting for the first time, Alabama.

It played out near ideally and the news came down from Nick Saban, himself.
“I was sitting in coach Saban's office and he was talking to me about the program,” he said. “Then he offered. I was shocked because I'm just a sophomore going into my junior year and ‘Bama offered.”

Higgins traveled to Tuscaloosa with teammate Darel Middleton, a two-way three-star already with a Tide extension. Both enjoyed the trip, as Middleton placed UA atop his list and the younger Oak Ridge standout elevated the Crimson Tide to a group he hasn’t yet created.

“Um, they might actually be top five for me,” he said. “But I haven’t really made up one yet. Alabama is in there because they show a lot of love! The fans and how they are in the community.”

Before coming to that point, Higgins spent the most time with area recruiter and assistant coach Bobby Williams both in the offices and around the Capstone.
“He showed me the recruiting, part of the stadium and other stuff,” Higgins said. “The campus is nice and the weight room is as well.”

The successful initial Tuscaloosa experience has Alabama in solid early position for one of the top Volunteer State prospect’s services. But he expects plenty this summer while hitting the camp circuit because of his ability.

“I work hard no matter what, I might not be as big but I'm working on that,” he said with a laugh. “And I listen to what the coaches have to say.”

As for his eventual decision, though, it won’t be a football coach or parent who guides the end of the commitment and signature process.

“My sister is going to help me decide what school to go to,” Higgins said. “She's been through college before.”

Commits are slow but the staff is working tirelessly so you know we will get some more talent here between now and summer.
