I think Jonah William may start as a freshman at RG or center and Baldwin at RT. Sabah said he could play any position on OL. Like Barrett jones on steroids with John Hannah athleticism.

I enjoy watching his film, way too much. I don't doubt that he might start anywhere on the line except LT. When Cam leaves, Williams might get a look there as well.

Shank will have to turn it around not to see heavy competition. He had some bright spots, but he is a drag on penalties.

Hell, as far as I'm concerned, Cam Robinson is the only on who doesn't need to be looking over his shoulder. Which is funny, as he gave up the most sacks out of all of them.

He and Dom were drags on penalties. Thinking about, I still don't see how we won the title. Then again, we just had so much more talent that and fire power it made up for minor mistakes. If that is corrected as we think it will be in 2016 we won't be able to be stopped. The mad scientist Kiff may come up with some stuff that will blow our minds. Mismatches all over the field

Yea, I agree. The only guy set in stone right now is Cam at LT. We have so much depth on the OL that are R-FR up to Juniors that the competition in the spring and fall should be incredible intense.

Has anyone ever heard anything else about Grant Hill? I really thought that he was going to be good.

No one will ever say exactly why, but he's done with football.

So is Baldwin as raw in pass pro as Dom Jackson was?

On a scale from Dominick Jackson to Leon Brown, he falls in the middle. Which is a good thing, he's balanced.

DJ was a good runblocker, but raw pro. LB showed good pass protection, but didn't show much power as a runblocker.

The left side of the line is set, center and the right side will have new starters. If Taylor is starting at right guard next year, then it's because Saban wants to go with experience over talent. Cotten, Casher or Warmack should be at left guard. Casher will also get a look at center, though JC will be a stud at center.

Yep. You can get away with starting a freshman at receiver, and in some cases at running back, but starting a freshman at any OL spot is asking for trouble.

I think some folks are forgetting just how much talent we have recruited at the OL positions the last couple of years. I'd be tickled pink if we were able to redshirt all the OL from this class. Let them practice against our defense a year or two and go through our S&C program while they learn the calls.

That's how you build a dominating offensive line year after year.

I agree with you Rise about Wilson. I work in the city he played in and literally no one is talking about him. I saw him play a couple of times and his performance was very meh. 5* players are supposed to be able to take over games and he just didn't do that when I saw him.

Having said that, I hope he makes me eat a double helping of crow. I hope SDH takes him under his wing and helps Wilson rise up to his potential.

I said the same about Ragland when I saw him play 2-3 times his senior year. Hope Wilson was mailing it in as well this year and turns out just as good or better than Rag did.
