So which of these do you think are silent commits like Les Miles mentioned?
I think it's some posturing on Miles' part, sending the message to undecided recruits that they better get on board and secure their spots before they get left behind.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Kristian Fulton and Devin White have given LSU a silent commitment. It also wouldn't surprise me if Devin White also gave our staff a silent ala Cece Jefferson last year.

I think its Devin. The guy that Saban wants the most. Miles probably knows Saban will wait for him like he did with LF and end up not taking another RB because of this.

I just read those defensive "tidbits" and they made me want to punch through my fricking tiny deployment television.

Two? We only have Emmons so far.
Unless you mean Najee Harris. He's in the 2017 class.
Nevermind. Say your edit.

Bone does not think one of them is White. Also does not think White signs with LSU.

I do know that before White visited LSU this past time, we had a big lead. Apparently that changed in a big way on that trip. However, I'd still be a little surprised if we didn't sign him. We have some trumps with him that will be hard for them to overcome. Plus... honestly, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for him to sign with them. The ONLY logic is that he'd be their only RB signee this time. The depth chart situation favors us in a HUGE way.

The mods over at BOL deleted my posts where I called out that "insider."

I still worry about a future coaching staff having issues recruiting in Alabama because, at that point, years of signing only 7-8 in-state kids.

Bama may only have 15 or so who can play SEC football. AU gets some and we get some.

Plus, the staff maintains a good relationship with in-state coaches and players through coaching clinics and summer camps. We might not be signing a whole lot, but we're maintaining relationships

Per the OM thread, one of their Rivals mods predicts Little to end up at OM. The other mod predicts him to land at Bama.

At least they are keeping it 'real'. Think Little signs with us unless he just can't see a clear path to playing time.Coaches have to sell him on that to keep him out of our rivals pocket.

I understand the concern about in-state, but at the end of the day, the majority of kids will want to play for a winner. Your kids with the championship mindset will want to play with and compete alongside the best.
So if that becomes an issue for a future staff, then there will be other more pertinent issues that will need to be addressed as well.
The Alabama football team under Saban has been burned by both in-state and out of state guys (busts, transfers, flips, arrests, etc) so I say bring in the best and let them compete with the rest... RTR!!!!
