Considering he is Coop's back up and he is going to the NFL after this season it wouldn't make much sense for Foster to transfer. He'd be filling that role next year.

Alabama commit Minkah Fitzpatrick and his Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep team will face Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic in a nationally-televised game. Both New Jersey powers will face off at 7 PM Eastern on ESPNU. Both programs are off to a 1-0 start and rank in the state's top 6 teams according to MaxPreps.

On top of Fitzpatrick, St. Peter's Prep features Penn State quarterback Brandon Wimbush, while Bergen Catholic touts 2016 signal caller Jarrett Guarantano- who has a final four schools of Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

Fitzpatrick had a huge game last week in a win over Upper Marlboro (Md.) Wise, rushing for 138 and a 81 yd TD on 7 carries, haulling 3 passes for 66 yards and 2 TD's (17 and 49 yards), and adding 8 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 PBU on defense.

The five-star corner committed to Alabama on April 19. He ranks as the no. 32 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.

Well, like Sarc mentioned, Cam Sims seems to have jumped him, but it's still early. Saban singled Foster out in his presser the other day for a mental error in the game against FAU.

There could be a bit of frustration on both sides. Maybe the staff is trying to motivate/push him and there is no way to know how the kid is handling it at this point.

I know not too long ago there was a group of LSU fans expecting Tim Williams to transfer, LOL. Foster will get his shot...

This kid is going to be so good at the college game. Very electric and strong. Excited to see a game instead of highlights. I know we want him at cb but I think hes that good he could be a stud reciever. Cant lose him to penn state.

Wasn't he also the one that almost didn't make it in last year because of grades. May have something to do with that as well b

Just saw BYU run one of those run-pass option plays and get called for ineligible receiver downfield. Maybe it's something refs are looking for this year.

Did anyone watch Minkah's game live? I missed it but I'm recording it in 30 minutes.

Hopefully they do offer. If they don't, I'll just go to Mississippi State. I'm satisfied with Mississippi State; I really like Mississippi State.

Good article. This tells me what I need to know: he'll flip, if offered. Also, based on what I've seen of him this year, I think we should absolutely offer.

He only played the first half. Didn't get thrown at much on the defense of side. Had 3 catches for 86 or so yards. His team uses him as a blocking RB on some passing downs. He looked very good at picking up blitzes.

Their QB Wimbush is the real deal! PSU is getting a good one. The WR in next years class looked good also. All they have to do is throw it up to him. He is great at high point snatches. The DT (54) looked dominate as well.

Why are you so excited about what a kid going to some other school does?

Dude's brother coaches at LSU and his dad basically pulled a Peter "beer can" North in an interview imagining his sons at LSU the other day. If ever you could cross a kid off the list, he is the one.
