I know FSU negative recruits like it's going out of style. Patrick said that when he visited FSU a month ago, Trickett immediately said something about Alabama, but Patrick would not say what it was in the interview with the recruiting site.

Also interesting that Urban Meyer is trying to get involved with Patrick's recruitment. Probably the source of the negative recruiting IMO.

I gone back and forth on this. 1 we dont really need another running back and could use the spot for someone else. 2 its between patrick and d. Harris or no one. 3 I think patrick is the one I like better hes really a bruiser and hes got more speed than you think.... but harris is a stud too. Maybe go with Harris becuz we already have a brusier with Flowers. 4 urban needs to stay away.

I like that we have Coker here now. He can help us against FSU by telling recruits Bama is better.

For RBs, if we are taking another, I'd want it to be between Jovon Robinson, Damien Harris, and Jacques Patrick. In that order.

I think he picked a loss just becuz hes a ex alum. On national tv and picked us to go 12-0, probably to hard to do. Even though thats what we all expect. He probably does too.

I watched Wetumpka play Fri nite. When Kennedy wants to, he just mauls his guy. I mean 15 yds down field kind of mauls.

They have a DB that's pretty good too. Don't know his name but his # is 24. VERY good tackler and jams very good on the line.

Have you seen pics of Harris? He's 185 lbs dripping wet and he could very possibly be LSU's starter

Yeah, Ole Miss is going to kill them and Miss. State could probably let them have it to, but when it comes to us they are a different monster. No matter how bad they truly are they will always play up to Alabama

Why He's The Top Target

Daron Payne is the latest in-state recruit to find himself caught in the middle of a tug-of-war between Alabama and Auburn. A dominant run-stuffer, he creates opportunities for blitzers by anchoring the middle with powerful play.

Alabama welcomed him to campus for its spring game and sporadically throughout the summer. His relationship with Crimson Tide recruiter Mario Cristobal is well-established, and it's difficult to imagine him passing up an opportunity in Tuscaloosa at this point.

Payne, who tallied 65 tackles and three sacks in 2013, according to AL.com, should be the latest top-tier prospect to make Nick Saban smile.

Nuggets:

-Minkah has been in heavy contact with the staff since his visit to Penn State a few weeks ago. Sources believe he sticks with Alabama.
-Ridley will not be enrolling in a prep school. His school may file a hardship waiver to allow him to play his entire Senior season. He has reiterated his desire to be an EE at Alabama.
-Alabama/Ole Miss battle for Drew Richmond.
-Isaiah Prince is very high on the board.
-Kendall Sheffield will be watching our season very carefully along with the offseason coaching carousel before making his decision.
-Blake Barnett will be visiting for the Florida, A&M, and Auburn games. The Florida game is shaping up to be a huge recruiting weekend with Barnett, Ridley, SBB and Jacques Patrick all in town.
-Staff wants another WR in this class. Appears KJ Hill is at the top of the board.
-Darrell Williams is expected to visit Alabama multiple times this fall, but he may not have a spot much longer.
-Raekwon Davis tore up the camp circuit.
-Lane Kiffin is going hard after 2016 QBs. The hiring of Shea Patterson's brother by the LSU staff does not guarantee he signs with them.
