I don't fully understand the impact of this hire (if it's happening at all. just message board fodder for now). Maybe gatordmb89 can stop in and tell us more about him and his impact in S. Fla. I just found this interesting, and thought some of you would like to know.

Also it just gives Bama another foothold in soFla and they are already killing it and the competition is already intensely fierce. Certainly I don't think U can come close to saying he is a better coach than Ice but U can say his reach and ties run just as deep to the community and to kids and families in and from the community. With his ties to Optimist football which is the breeding ground and birthing pods for talented young boys that play football especially in Carol City that is a come up for OL' Ugly Satan.
I played for the Scott Lake Vikings back in the day and all the HS coaches would be at oUr games scouting us when we were just 85/90 pound 4th and 5th graders so it is real that he will be impactful. Therefore I think Sigma posted it because it is in FACT newsworthy and will only go to make the already tough battle that much more arduous. Nick Satan is playing chess not checkers gentlemen.
