If any school is going to steal Jovon Robinson from the SEC it might be Louisville.
Robinson, the No. 1 junior college prospect in the nation, is expected to graduate from Georgia Military next December and he’ll have his pick of schools. A former Auburn Tiger, Robinson just finished his first official visit with Bobby Petrino’s program.
“I think he loved it, getting to see the city and all the facilities,” close friend and teammate Pat Thomas said. “He still has another year but I think they gave him a lot to think about.”
Thomas accompanied Robinson on the visit and could join Bobby Petrino’s program soon. Thomas said Robinson, who rushed for 2,387 yards and 34 touchdowns last season, was impressed with what he saw on his visit to Louisville.
“Everything caught his eye and surprised him,” said Thomas. “That’s basically what he told me about Louisville, the coaches, the facilities.”
Robinson made unofficial visits to Auburn and Alabama this month. Thomas said the two have discussed playing together at the next level.
“We never thought it would come true, but now we have that opportunity,” Thomas said.
Does Thomas think it probable Robinson would join him at UofL?
“I can’t really say,” Thomas said. “It’s up to him basically, whatever decision he wants to make. I think he does know that we make a good tandem.”

What can I say? I don't like parents who live through their kids.

He hasn't posted in the last handful of Dylan Moses' threads on the LSURb. I guess he finally gave it up.

Kengera Daniel is rapidly adding to his offer total and some of college football's big names are getting involved.
The Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook defensive end has his share of offers from local schools. Wake Forest, ECU, Appalachian State and Elon have all offered. But he also has offers from schools that offer something different. Alabama, Miami and Boston College have all offered him as well.
Alabama was the first school to offer on February 1 and that was obviously a huge moment.
"I talk to coach (Kevin) Steele and I talked to coach (Nick) Saban on the phone," Daniel said. "I'll be back down there this weekend. When I went the first time it was for a junior day. It was nice. They have really nice facilities. The city looked isolated from everything else. You can tell football is what they do there."
The 6-foot-6, 241-pound defensive end is obviously giving a strong look at the Crimson Tide, winners of three of the past five national championships. But he's open to the other schools on his list, too.
"I'll definitely probably make a round trip of all the schools that have offered before making my final decision," he said. "I have to make an early decision because I'm going to be graduating early."
Al Washington, BC's primary recruiter for North Carolina, is staying in contact with Daniel.
"He seems like a pretty great guy. Really energetic," Daniel said. "He's pretty funny and compatible. Real easy to get along with. I actually just got off the phone with him. He's a great guy and a great coach to know."
Washington actually stopped by Millbrook this week when coaches could start making the rounds visiting high schools.
Daniel said location will not be a factor in his decision but academics will be big.
"I know it sounds cliche but education is what's most important to me. I want to major in biomedical engineering so that's something I'm going to be thinking about," he concluded.

Maybe we should start a separate thread in SEC recruiting board asking his opinion on the visit this weekend...just for fun.

Auburn hosted a pair of Rivals100 teammates on Thursday evening in the Coconut Creek (Fla.) duo of Calvin Ridley and Shawn Burgess-Becker.
Ridley is the nation's No. 1 wideout and No. 11 prospect overall. He's already earned five-star status.
"This was my first time, I'm happy we stopped by. It's amazing, I love it," Ridley told AuburnSports.com. "I wasn't expecting it to be so nice."
Ridley, 6-foot-1, 189 pounds, spent time with head coach Gus Malzahn, offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee and receivers coach Dameyune Craig.
"They are all great guys. Coach Craig is really good. I sat in on his meeting and he's really good. The guys love him and I like him a lot," said Ridley. "When I sat in the meetings, I felt like I was home. I feel like I can fit right in with those guys."
Ridley has visited Alabama, LSU, Florida, Miami and Florida State this year. He ranks his short Auburn visit among the best visits he's taken.
"I don't have a top five, but if I did, they'd be up there from today's experience. It's one of the best schools I've been to so far," he said.
Ridley claims no favorites. He will continue the process of narrowing his choices as the summer moves on. Before his Auburn visit, Ridley admitted the Tigers likely weren't among his favorites. That appears to have changed.
"I'm looking for a good education, playing time, and a coach that I can get a bond with and a good coach, and I want to win. I'll have to see more schools," said Ridley. "I had it kind of narrowed down, but I just didn't tell anyone. But after seeing this, they're about to the top. I don't have a top, but I like them."
As for Burgess-Becker, the nation's No. 4 athlete and No. 73 overall prospect, he echoed the sentiments of Ridley.
"It was my first time up there and the campus is amazing. It's a beautiful campus. Everything is laid back. I had the chance to meet with a couple of coaches. It was an amazing time for a first visit," he said.
"I got to sit down with a couple of the defensive coaches and learn a couple of new plays. I got a chance to speak with the head coach. There were good things there that build that connection between a player and a coach. It opened my eyes a lot. It's my first time being there and it was just that amazing. The campus is sick and the facilities are nice."
Burgess-Becker is being recruited to Auburn to play defensive back. He spoke at length with Tigers' secondary coaches Melvin Smith and Charlie Harbison.
"I talked to Melvin Smith and Coach Cheese, I guess that's what they call him. Those are two pretty cool guys. The head coach is a nice guy. He told me a couple of history things about the school and stuff. It was good," said Burgess-Becker.
He hope he can play early at the school of his choosing.
"That's really good. All players' dream about coming in and playing early," he said. "Also you have to work for that and build that relationship with the coach. That's pretty good that they are looking or those types of players."
Burgess-Becker entered the visit with Alabama, LSU, Miami, Florida and Florida State as his favorites. Following the visit, Burgess-Becker inserted Auburn into the mix, as well as Ohio State.
"They'll be in my top for sure, top five or top six. I have right now Alabama, Miami, LSU, Ohio State, Florida State and Florida, all those types of schools. Auburn will make its way in there for sure," he said.
Burgess-Becker stated he plans to return.
"For sure. The campus is nice. You can't beat that. I don't know when for sure, but I'll have another visit up there," he said. "Auburn will make its way into it."
Both Ridley and Burgess-Becker will attend Alabama's A-Day game on April 19.

I don't think they are teammates in high school. Durante plays at Northwestern where Amari Cooper played. The three of them are on the same traveling 7v7 team.
