He's looking like the next badass Miami receiver. His age definitely helps. But for his first college start, he showed some serious potential.

I was most impressed by the first down he picked up from the Bateman pass. It looked like he dropped his route, bounced between the coverage, then went forward for the first. That looked like good chemistry between him and Bateman. And the only time it looked like Bateman went off script, and instincts took over.

If we manage to sign his brother, it's going to become very confusing to watch our offense.

If we get both Ridleys, we should just change Calvin's number to 1, and his brother can be 2.

Disclaimer:'m not saying he is this good, nor am I saying he is the same player. He is not Amari Cooper, he is not a generational talent. The following is simply meant to denote similarities in certain physical qualities.

He reminded me of Amari in the way he moves, just not as smooth. It was the way he ran, especially in the hips, but he was a bit more.....frenetic, in his movements. More wasted motion. More footsteps in his cuts. Maybe a tad more.....jitterbug? I guess?

Physically they have similar size too, though Ridley is a bit leaner than Cooper was I think.

I thought he was the best looking WR on the field from a potential standpoint. He just needs to get stronger and smoother. Lose the wasted motion. Maybe he'll develop, maybe not. The way he snatches/attacks the ball tells me he probably has the best natural hands on the team. Some guys never learn that even after a long NFL career.

Foster looked good too. He has every tool he could need to be a major force, just needs to put in the work.

Stewart on the other hand seemed to have no idea how to make an adjustment on the ball, but he was the one who got open the most.

I like Mullaney, though I thought he was taller than that. Black was, well, Black.

Howard looked decent, he has a bit of a funky running motion though. His strides seem short for a guy his size.

If Ridley works as hard as Julio and Coop did, he will be a first round pick one day also. It's all up to him. Hopefully Coop and/or Julio can spend some time with him when they're in town.

He plucks the ball out of the air and he is extremely quick. I think he will be getting the ball in multiple ways.

On the deep ball that Coker under threw, when they showed his route, it looked like Amari. Few guys gain speed when they make a cut, Ridley falls into that category

His she certainly doesn't hurt. He'll be 21 before Christmas. So he'll be otter only true freshmen allowed to drink at the bowl games. He'll be 24 before he's allowed to enter the draft.

I'll go ahead and make a prediction right here....and you can hate on me if you must...

Chris Black is a bust. He's done. If you're waiting on him to break out....stop.

But about Ridley...Very VERY excited to see what Ridley, Howard, Stewart, Mullaney, and Foster do this season. Who can guard all 5 of them? lol

Black is a senior, and looks to be our 5th/6th option at receiver, so yeah he's a 5 star bust, unfortunately. I'm glad Robert Foster seems to have put things together. It would've been crazy to have that many busts at wr.

I'm excited about Mullany. I think he will get a lot of touches while defenses focus on Foster/Stewart/Ridley/Howard/Drake/Henry

I actually thought he looked like he has more raw athletic ability than Amari, but isn't anywhere close to as polished as Amari was even as a freshman
