We have probably 3 juniors that may declare.
There will be some serious number crunching if we sign 25 this year. NS seems to always make it happen but it makes a numbers guy wonder who wont be back or who may transfer or forgo a year of eligibility as they have their degree.

It's been the same situation each of the last several years. The staff probably already knows of about 6 players who have degrees in hand or will by end of spring and don't plan on returning and another 2 or 3 who have medical issues that force them to retire.

Also don't forget that Freitag is gone as well.

I understand the process. Just stating the obvious. I think 1 RB, 1 QB, 1 WR, 1 OL, are probably moving on. I don't know enough about some on the D side but probably at least one DB and 1 DL

I could see Tenpenny and Morris transferring. After Bateman was the 3rd string guy behind Blake and Coker for so long, and then Morris suddenly took that spot back, I think it was really just in an effort to get Morris to stick around for depth.

Or Morris started playing better and earned the spot. He may transfer but if he doesn't I think he could be a player in next year's competition.

I remember last year some of us thought the Arie K might quit football. Then he came back and was an all-American. Lol. Doubt we'll see more of that.

Yeah it's not too hard to predict which players won't be back but there are always a few surprises.
