My initial reaction to this not a full on caps lock oh my god we're all doomed.

The "will not hire an agent" part is pretty important. None of us are NBA scouts (that's the MSB), but I kind of find it hard to believe that he'd get a first round grade. In which case, hopefully he'd just pull back out.

Hopefully this is just to test the waters. I don't know him and his families financial situation, but he still needs a year or two to progress

I really think it's just a test. Has to be, right? The team is counting on this young for our tourney run next year but if he by some chance gets the right grade then best wishes I guess.

He Is half of a DA for me. He is no where near first round material. He does not get the full DA since he is not hiring an agent. Great move young man

His statement on Twitter sounded like he was done with Bama.

Really odd move unless there's some underlying issue we don't know about.

Think he is done with us. Even if he doesnt get into NBA he has other options around the world. What a shocker. Must have been talking to Ferguson.

Lol, nice first recruiting class eh? Ferguson goes overseas, Ar'Mond announces he's transferring, and now Key is declaring for the NBA.

Ridiculous!

I don't know who's in that kid's ear, but this is honestly a joke!

That's why I'm not enthused about chasing star aau talent as a recipe for success. I envy programs like Butler and even Gonzaga where they rely on gymrat types to get things done.

I wouldn't be too concerned. They changed the rule a couple years ago to make it easier for guys to test the waters and return to school. I think he will be back.

I would come back if I was him. Next year team has talent that will let him succeed much better.

You need to take a closer look at Gonzaga's most recent roster
