How do you fumble the football in that situation? I hate that he's our only "power back." Coughing up the football right there is inexcusable and could've cost us the game. Not really a huge fan of the 4 back rotation either. Pick two and ride them, let them get into a rhythm.

We escaped. Roll Tide. But good grief man, you can not fumble the football in that situation.

I agree, but I still think he's our best back when we need to pound a defense. When he actually gets a hole, he powers through and runs over defenders.
He needs to learn to run w both hands on the ball.
That said, D Harris is the man. Coach Burns has made him into Ingram II. I really didn't think he had it, but I was wrong.

Who was it that fumbled the ball and gave it to LSU a few years ago and we miracled a win out of it?

He'll get better.

Yeldon.

Our RB is Harris and he wasn't affected by rotating at all.

16 carries for 144.

That is all.

I haven't given up on Bo. But in the short term maybe we need to re-purpose him into a Jalston Fowler role. Block, short yardage, pass catching. Even there, he has some work to do, though.

Saban gives guys a chance to perform or screw up. Once they get some data on guys, they'll settle into a 2 or 3 back rotation.

The ship certainly hasn't sailed, but he's worked himself probably to third right now behind Harris and Jacobs. He's still a talented runner but that kind of stuff isn't going to be accepted by an unproven back.

Because Richardson & Yeldon never fumbled the ball late

I don't think we'd be having this conversation if Bo had ever shown he was capable of being on the level of a Yeldon or Richardson. That's kind of like responding to a drop by Dieter by saying "Yeah, it's not like Julio never dropped one."

Your acting as if he did it on purpose. There was plenty of mistakes yesterday and that was one of his. Calm down.

I doubt on purpose but ball security while trying to run the clock out is paramount. He should have both arms and hands wrapped around that ball when he hit the hole

True I agree but he is young and will learn. Can't crucify him for that. Just a learning experience. All I see is bitching threads. Jesus we just a beat Ole Miss team that has been all in our arse the last two years. Be happy we are three and zero.

I felt like this would be a Clemson type game. and knew it would probably come down to the last few minutes with TO's being key. They scored on one which was a horrible no call against the helmet hit to Hurts Chin

We scored on two. We one upped them on TO's and won by less than a tD
