Undefeated for the first time in 7 years and this how you will remember the season. Kind of feel bad for your tinker bell arse. You ain't got a fricking clue.

Man what are you getting all personal about.
My comments were related to the point of we should have run the ball way more against so many opponents.

You talked about Not having a clue.
Any and everybody could see Jalen hitting the wall down the stretch And the running game & defense carrying the Lsu and Auburn games.

Has it been a great year.
You bet your arse it was.

No need to come at me like that.

I don't think Browning would be the best they have played so far. Remember Chad Kelly?

Peterson is going to glean some stuff from what McElwain did to us. Florida had us all out of sorts for, quite frankly, a lot of the game.

They will have lots of formational stuff that will screw with us and they will make smart plays leading up to taking chances down the field with their speed guys.

We looked like we didn't want to be at this game for most of the first quarter. After everyone figured out they had a job to do....Well

Sort of - but Florida had 3 long drives against us in which we were scrambling around for the majority of them. The 1st TD drive, the last drive of the half and the first drive of the 3rd quarter. Not to mention Appleby missed 2 or 3 throws badly (Minkah's pick 6 was a terrible throw in which the guy was wide open in the middle of the field).

Mac schemed us. We figured it out, and for the most part their mistakes and our capitalization made it so by the time they had drives 2 and 3 the game was out of reach, but that probably won't be the case against Washington.

That's a two way street. Mac's game plan will prove very useful in self-scouting over the next month. The fact that Florida found holes to exploit could well help us as much or more than it does Washington.

Florida 's offensive success began and ended with their Oline's ability to pass protect. Applby made some good throws, and smart, safe reads, along with some very bad throws, and dumb reads. We baited him into some of those. But really the only way to move the ball effectively against our defense is to stabilize our pass rush.

Can Washington's Oline block our guys? I really have no idea. I do know that Peterson is an excellent coach, and he won't be the stubborn mule that a lot of coaches that play us are. He will have a good game plan against us. I guarantee you that Saban isn't underestimating that coach.

Yep - they were very good. Best I've seen all season pass blocking our guys.

That's a great point.

Thanks again Mac!

I like this match-up as well as the match-ups to come.

Nobody will beat Alabama, but Alabama. Not Washington, not Clemson, not Ohio State.

Can Alabama lose? Sure, but it won't be because any one of those teams out-match Alabama.

I am hoping the team's focus was on the playoffs from how the SECCG started. I also never want to see the early effort from the SECCG again.

I absolutely hated hearing the talking about Bama being in win or lose this last week.

Alabama -15 is the best bet of the bowl lineup. It ain't gonna be pretty.

UW is still solid, but they haven't been the same since they lost their stud pass rusher (Joe Mathis). They also lost their leading tackler in the USC game. They're not a program that can just reload like an Alabama. You'll wear their defense down in the second half.

If you go back and look Saban said they had a lot of distractions and they prepared incorrectly as it was their first time doing this type of system. Was corrected the next year if you recall. So two years ago means nothing at all. Sounds like something an OSU fan would say.

I remember that first year. The team and staff were at the complex putting on a bit of a show for the cameras during the rankings reveal. Last year, like this year, there was no at the complex. No interviews until Saban got there, no "show" what so ever. They mean business.

I was blown away with Browning's stats until someone sent me here to see these. So the kid is average at best against good defenses and now he has to play Bama. I know they are a good team, they must be to be in the playoffs, but I don't think they match up well against Bama. Especially if all you have to do is get into Browning's face to get him to choke.
