I was hoping the Titans would run him a little. I think he could actually be a decent back, so it'd be nice to see him get 2-4 carries a game. I could see him being used as a goal line and short yardage back.

Outside of Coop, I always thought Fowler would have the longest and most consistent career out of the Bama pack last year. Just a really good player. Reminds me of Reece from Oakland.

I could see a career similar to Le'ron McClain. Full back that is an emergency tailback. McClain was a serviceable tailback in Baltimore one season.

I know he went to LSU, but we have some Bucs fans here and he's from Alabama. Kwon Alexander has been named the starter at middle linebacker for the Bucs.

Wow. That dude's in the NFL already? Some guys seem like they are at a school for 10 years while others seem like they're there a year or 2 tops.

Yep, 4th round pick this year.

He's definitely one that comes to mind when thinking of guys who had quick college careers. Feels like just yesterday he tore his knee up in HS. Now he's the starting middle linebacker in the NFL.

So how about this? Of the QBs on Alabama's roster in 2011, the first one to appear in an NFL game (incl preseason) is Phillip Sims.

Great news for DeAndrew White's future. 49ers WR Jerome Simpson is suspended for the first 6 games for breaking substance abuse policy.

Lacy, Ingram, and Yeldon, how do y'all think they do this year when stacked up against each other? What I mean is, who has the most yards, who has the least, etc

I think...

Yardage:
Eddie Lacy
TJ Yeldon
Mark Ingram

TDs:
Eddie Lacy
Mark Ingram
TJ Yeldon

@Rotoworld_FB: Report: Bills have offered Dareus $90M plus LINK

Sometimes it's really hard to feel bad for NFL players

I wouldn't mind him leaving Buffalo if he went to a great franchise. They're bound to increase the offer though, unless he has a bad season.

Dareus got some high praise from Gruden and rightfully so. He plugged up the middle and got a sack. Hate that he's suspended for the opener, but he'll be a monster for 15 other games

Bills would be silly to let him leave. Dareus and Williams in the middle is a nightmare to run on. Marcel is arguably the best defensive tackle in the league and he's just entering his prime. Someone will pay him Suh money. May not be buffalo but someone will

Javier Arenas is a guy who’s had a pretty good camp since he got to NY. Has value on special teams as a returner, too. #Jets

Not a surprise, but Marvin Lewis praises AJ McCarron's leadership: LINK

quote:

“He seems to thrive on confidence and things going well and making a big play,” Lewis said. “He’s a good leader in the huddle, He really brings the best out of people, which is great.

Now for Dalton to toss a shite ton of picks in the first couple of games.

Man I'm rooting so hard for AJ to succeed. Its been ages since an Alabama QB did anything in the NFL except lose.

Same. I don't think he'd be an elite NFL QB, but I do believe he can be a good NFL QB.
