With Gus it would be no surprise if they go full retard in one or two more games this year.

So this is one of those games.

People were too quick to write off LSU. Not that they're some great team but at their best they're capable of playing with almost anyone. Just really inconsistent game to game.

Meh... au was overrated. This is still the same team that lost to Troy. At home. After being embarrassed by State. This shouldn’t be a close game.

The one good team they played totally sht them down. Now true they shouod have won big today after that start but LSU was a bit shell-shocked at first and Johnson ran all over them. Auburn WRs were making a,azing catches.

Then LSU settled down, got the cr9wd back into, and shut down the run. Then Auburn WRs stsrted dropping passes and they were running too much in a way that made the offense very predictable.

But yeah, they were overrated. Gus is who we all said he was.

Auburn is back to being a fricking dump truck.

4th straight win over them will feel soooo fricking sweet.

Alabama should shut Auburn down, as the OL isn't good enough to support that offense vs Alabama's defense + Alabama's WRs are more than talented enough to expose the secondary.

I'd argue with the overrated part... in a respect. This is Les Miles 2013 LSU type "overrated" where the limiting factor was coaching not players. It's hard to view this game and ignore the impressive shell Auburn failed to go into.

From Q1 1:27 left until Q4 2:36

1st Down - 18 Runs 0 Passes
2nd Down - 11 Runs 5 Passes
3rd Down - 2 Runs 9 Passes
9/14 Passes were either in 3 & 7+ or 2 & 12+

WTF did Gus copy our second half game plan from last season's national championship? Does he not know we lost that game?

This is Gus' "thing" that Sark copied... how do you think AU lost a 21-3 lead vs FSU?

Seriously though, if you exclude obvious passing situations (2 & 11+ or 3 & 7+), Auburn ran 92% of 1st/2nd down during 3Q stretch, ~85% overall run

Speaking of Sark.

I haven't watched an NFL game since week 1, but based on the box scores he took the same game plan to Atlanta.

But it will be. Much like the 2009 Iron Bowl.

Gus is gonna pull out all the stops and every trick in his book. Plus, Jordan Hare's a tough place to win, especially at night, and especially the Iron Bowl.

It's almost like Alabama fans can't sleep at night without a team to "worry" about.

"Auburn worries me. They're killing LSU."

"Nah, LSU sucks."

"Yea, I know they do, but Auburn is still going to be the toughest game on our schedule."

LSU wins

"I'm worried about LSU."

I have to agree. People have been crowing about their QB and I have said, "pump the brakes!" He hasn't faced a defense worth a shite since he has been a college QB. 2-1 at Baylor and faced a Top 30 defense in Oklahoma and LOST!!
At the Barn, faced 3 teams with Top 25 defenses and has now lost 2 of those. Miss State is the anomaly. A look at their remaining schedule shows UGA and BAMA looming inside the TOP 5 in total D and in Scoring D. 8-4 at best staring them in the face.
