My point was that I don't see how anyone came away from that one possession thinking that AJ wasn't going to potentially be our guy the next season.

You mean it was unreasonable for them think a guy who had never played a meaningful snap in his career should be able to come in cold and lead a team that had just blown a 24 point lead to a game winning drive with 45 seconds on the clock?

Don't you think your expectations were a little low?

Bateman? I sincerely do not think you are remembering that game right.

We could easily do better.

Bateman and Griffith are going to cost us a couple games without question.

0-1 as a starter. Awesome.

With our defense and running game, his potential to be a liability is marginalized

I guess that was the difference between Coker and Bateman. Coker would run over people and Bateman gets laid out.

Griffith hasn't cost us a game since he's been here, so I'm guessing he won't cost us a couple this year...and, in fact, he's won at least a couple for us. He was instrumental in the Iron Bowl last year and without his clutch onside kick, we probably lose to Clemson...that trumps missing 4 FGs in the A-Day Game. Regardless of what he does this year, that onside kick alone made him a Bama legend...

He did miss two field goals in a 6 point loss to Ole Miss in 14. It's not the reason Bama lost, but had he made them, that last drive would have been for a field goal and not a TD.

That little turd is the worst kicker I've ever seen in my life.

Worst kicker you've ever seen? You must not be very old...you think former Bama kickers Ryan Pflugner and Cade Foster were better than Griffith? You think Florida's kicker last year was better? The SEC coaches apparently disagree with you as Griffith was named 2nd team All-SEC last season...

Ok, now I get it. You're a troll or an alter that managed to sneak your way onto the Bama board.

We will be a force with whoever Saban and Kiff trot out there, that much has been proven. Some of you act like Dubose or Shula are still roaming the sideline. Our floor is around 10-2 and ceiling is 12-0 with the talent we have. That's been true for many years now and won't change any time real soon regardless of who is under center when we play USC.

Those two have done more for the university than you could ever dream of.. They work their arse off to try to help the team.. Sometimes they come up short.. But while you're sitting in your trailer trying to make yourself feel better by degrading young men these two are putting in work.. Congrats.

I wasn't high on Bateman at all til I went back and re-watched his game film from last year... what I saw wasn't bad. He is definitely in the game manager mold but has some wheels by all accounts. With all the talent we have, we can win with Bateman.
