Didn't our WRs have a couple of drops on that last possession? If anything, I came away thinking that he'd be okay going forward after that game.

After he had been hyped so much I think a lot of people were let down that he wasn't able to lead us to a game winning drive. And I think that contributed to there being so many people pro-PS the following off-season, though not the only reason

I'm not sold on any of the QB's on our roster right now. I am sold on the decisions the coaches have made on who the starting QB's would be each season the past 5 or 6 years though, so I'm not too worried.

Not really.

On first down he was under very heavy pressure, which caused him to understandably overthrow Julio.

On second down, he threw into triple coverage and hit the Auburn DB right in the hands. Should have been picked.

On third down, Norwood dropped a short crossing route that would have probably gotten the first.

On 4th down, he hit Julio in the hands, but it was knocked away by an Auburn DB. Wouldn't have mattered anyhow because Julio was about 5 yards short of the first.

Dude, he got crushed.

He wasnt benched; it was concussion protocol.

Two drops. One by Bama and one by Auburn.

Bateman? I sincerely do not think you are remembering that game right.

I'm sold on him if Saban is sold on him. If the kid is our starter in the fall then I know he's the best man for the job.

Lol. Not many people on this board are cool with welching, after half of us had ole miss logos for a few weeks last season.

Qb may be considered the most important position on the field. But it's been one of my least concerns lately. But look where the top picks came from in the draft. North Dakota, Cal, Memphis. Having a first round qb is rare. With our overall talent, we just can't have turnovers.

The first one was right on point. Yeah, he was forced to throw it early and before Julio broke, but it went right through his hands.

My point was that I don't see how anyone came away from that one possession thinking that AJ wasn't going to potentially be our guy the next season.
