Am I the only one who still lays the Ohio State loass at the feet of Kiffin?

It makes me sick to think bama was up 21-6 and was dominating OSU's defense with the run, but Kiffin insisted on putting the ball in the air which played into their favor.

I knew Bama was going to lose when - after getting the ball on the 30ish yard line with a chance to retake the lead - the very first play was an interception while trying to force the ball to Amari.

I thought the CamBack would always be the hardest loss for me to swallow, but I believe the playoff loss has taken its place.

It wasn't Kiffen's best game. If we stuck to the run, we would have won. But that's last year and this is this year. Time to get busy.

Well, Kiffin deserves blame but at the same time it was Kirby's defense that was giving up those 3rd and Longs and allowed 35 points with over 200+ yards rushing.

That said, we did nothing on offense to alleviate the defense. We got into a rut of 3 & Outs, which had been a problem all year. The playcall after the OSU miffed punt was awful. Our problem was that we simply didn't have an identity on offense and refused to take what the defense gave us.

Since we probably won't have a QB who will have Sims' ability to scramble, I'm really concerned about the 3 and out problem.

Yep...this is why I will NEVER care when Kiffin decides to move on.

He blew the biggest game of career on the biggest stage...all by himself.

the play call after the miffed punt was more on the safety making the play. he made up some serious ground.

I mean if we get that TD then we win. everyone would be talking about how great of a play that was.

We got up 20-3 and allowed them to come back. lose is more on the D, not Kiffen.

But I agree, we should have ran the ball a bit more in the second half.

I remember everyone saying the same thing after the Maze INT against 2011 LSU game and I didn't agree with it then.

Its just my opinion that you just keep them off the field for a little bit.

I think it was a mix of Kiffin and Sims. I think teams figured out Sims would throw to the first read most of the time.

I blame the loss at both the offense and defense. If the offense had played great it wouldn't have mattered how bad the defense did. Vice versa for defense.

you guys are discounting the injuries we had on D by the fourth quarter.

This was the game IMO. The defense was playing with their hair on fire! I'm sure it was a commercial break but the band was playing Down For My N****s at every opportunity and the guys on the field were dancing the whole time. Then lineup and pop OSU in the mouth. Weren't there two 3 and outs back to back? Anyways, the pick when Howard was completely by himself REALLY hurt. The defense had just done their job and a TD or rest would have been huge.

It was a good play call, Blake just threw it a second or two too late. The play was wide open.

This too. Not having Devall out there 100% allowed OSU to set the edge on their running plays and they gashed us. All of their runs were to the outside and we had no answer.

Yeah, was an easy TD if he threw it sooner.

Kiffin is def. to blame. With McElwain, we would've won the last two NCs.

If we run the ball, the defense is better rested...we win the game. Plain and simple.

Does it really blow your mind? I can see blaming it all on the defense but is it really a stretch to blame the offense?

To me, it was a team loss.
