66-60 Alabama with 24.7 seconds left. Releford at the line.

Our offense actually looked like an offense at some parts of the night. I enjoyed our amount of cutting and picks.

However, the kids playing at halftime had more movement and down low play than bama did.

I haven't watched the past few games but did watch tonight so tell me, when did our guys start shooting with more than 10 seconds on the shot clock?

They've been doing that most of the season. Still not the "fast-tempo" Grant claims it to be, but much faster than it's been the previous years of his tenure.

We've got to get a consistent 6-8 points from Carl each game. The little benefit he adds defensively isn't worth the complete ineptness from him when/if he gets the ball.

Went to the game last night, and the guys played hard.

This isn't a great Vanderbilt team, but they have some talent.

To me this was a big win because they faced some adversity and responded by closing out the game. We need a few of these games to build confidence entering league play.

Y'all need to get back on board and support the team.

Are you sure? Last time I looked, we were 327 in KenPom's adjusted tempo. That was 3 games ago I think though.

I didn't watch the game but I was following the score. I guess I should feel bad that I assumed we'd lose. But I don't. Hopefully this game starts a turnaround for the season.

It may be due to the rule changes, but in the games I've seen it's certainly been faster. Then again I've missed a lot of the games recently.

Did you get to watch Bird? I was surprised with how easy it looked for them

No, I just followed along. Glad to see some positive comments though. It's about time we have something to be positive about this season.

When we got the big lead it seemed as if we played with a purpose. Guys were flying around the court and everything was just clicking.

They got the big lead because of who was on the floor. When they subbed in Taylor, Cooper, and Jacobs for Retin, Carl, and Hale they instantly lost momentum.
