I never really saw Reed as a first rounder, Ragland would have been a first rounder if the health issue didn't come up. I don't know how the hell Robinson wasn't a 1st rounder. It will just give Saban more ammunition when telling kids to stay in school.

I don't understand how Ragland's enlarged aorta affected his draft status at all. lts not like he has a bum shoulder or a bad knee. If I was a team that really wanted him I probably wouldn't even give a shite about an enlarged aorta.

He didn't exactly impress at the combine and at his pro day. There were also a lot of 1st RD worthy DTs in the draft.

Did nobody watch him dominate against elite competition this year?

I think some scouts mentioned his inconsistency. Plus he only such few QB pressures for as many pass rush attempts he had. But he will be quickly taken by some team in the first half of the 2nd RD.

Better low risk/ high reward type picks now in the 2nd. I think it worked out for the best.

Gotta remember, Demeco Ryans was a 2nd round pick and he ended up winning Defensive Rookie of the Year.

The thing with A'Shawn, I remember him getting good pressure right up the middle his freshman year but very little of that the last 2 years. I've always wondered if we changed the way we used him or if it was something else. But the ability to pass rush is there if teams go back and look at '13

Pretty sure they would have all rather been 1st rounders.

Yeah, doesn't our scheme not really use the interior guys to rush the passer that much? He was a beast of a pass rusher his freshman year in relatively limited playing time.

I just don't get how OSU had that many first rounders on one team. That Eli Apple was absolutely outrageous.

I remember Reed and Robinson pushing the interior a lot against passes this past season. Really helped the outside guys out at times.

Hopefully all 4 are off the board before the 3rd round begins

ETA: Didn't the Ravens lose Daryl Smith? Are they looking for another ILB to pair with Mosley? Because Ragland/Mosley together would be fun.

Sup gents. Agree with some of you all in that I thought at least 1 more guy would go in the 1st. Hopefully they go on a run here soon.

Another couple DTs go before Reed/Robinson.

I'm really starting tot hink Baltimore gets Ragland, or at least a Bama guy.

Ozzie likes his board and his Bama guys. He's traded down twice to add a 4th and a 5th and could get exactly what he wants

Which Bama guys do you think will be available in the 4th/5th?
