197.2125 for Nebraska.

If Nebraska would have been in session 1 they would have made the Super Six with that score. Should be top six overall and not the top three from each semifinal.

LSU beats all other 11 semifinalists scores by .463. If they do that tomorrow they will become just the 7th team to win the title. I wonder how many other coaches in any NCAA sport won their 1st title in their 40th season with a school?

No easy way around it. To win tonight would be a massive and glorious upset. The Boomer Sooners and Swamp Kittens look poised to make this a duel meet unless Alabama can match their season highs on all four apparatuses. They've fought tooth and nail to make it this far though and maintained the almost unreal level of consistency Sarah Patrerson left and will finish at least top 6 in the nation. Make even more history gals! Roll Tide

We need other teams to fall. Luckily as an underdog we ought to be able to play free.

LSU is losing a national championship and all they're talking about on the Tiger Rant thread is how bad our team is doing

6 in a row cuts deep

We'll just have to make it 7 in a row.

We'll finish 6th in the nation, there was no gas left in the tank.

It seems like the team under Dana has always been very inconsistent. Can't believe OU is so good. They only get like 3k fans per game.

Do you think we'll ever win a title under Dana? She always seems to get us to the Super 6, but can't finish it off. It's getting frustrating.

I don't think Dans has the "it" factor. Good, solid coach but can't elevate the team to their maximum potential. We've been very good all year but got stuck in a range and never got out of it. Tonight we needed a 198 score and couldn't turn it up a notch. A 196? How can you not have any gas left in the tank for the Natty? Nobody's gonna fire Dana for results like this but I fear our championship days are over as long as she stays. We can't even win the league right now, much less a title.

I don't think so. I expected more from this year's team honestly. I know win lose record doesn't really matter in gymnastics, but some of the teams we've lost to under Dana are embarrassing. We've lost to Arkansas three times in a row.

None of our underclassmen gymnasts really stick out as game changers, so I think we're trending down.

Bring back Sarah Patterson!!!!!
Dana seems like a good person, but I believe she is going to slowly let this program decline.

could be the "Curse of 7" striking again. Hit Sarah twice.

1997 (worst) Alabama was the defending national champion and failed to win their regional or make the top six for the first time since 1982, the first year of NCAA sponsorship.

2007. Lead by a US Olympian, gymnastics missed out on the Super Six for the first time since... well 97. In 2008 they would get back to the Super Six but finish dead last.

2017. Another regional loss and actually make the Super Six but underwhelm at the championship and produce their lowest championship score since 1999.

Oddly enough we've been consistent as hell since 2007. Literally every other team in the finals has missed the Super Six a time or two in that time span.
