watching this SEC inside and Ive come to one conclusion:
We aint ever gonna win a NC under Dana Duckworth. She is way too nice and is more of a cheerleader than a coach. All the rest of the coaches were coaching their teams.

Sarah Patterson had kind of a rah rah style too, but she could get intense and really loved what she did. I don't think Dana has the want to that Sarah had.
When Sarah was hired, the Bear was about to shut down the gymnastics program, but she talked him into giving her a chance. To speak up to a living legend like the Bear is pretty incredible. That's the type of passion you want in a coach. Particularly in a non major sport.

NCAA Bracket on SEC Country LINK

I like this bracket, we have an excellent chance to advance all the way to the super six if we even play to our average.
Meh, I've always felt Dana was more of a Rhonda Faehn, as it, a bit of the "player's coach," but focused her intensity on the recruiting trail and uses her experience as a former US National Team gymnast and All-American (and youth) to get the talent we'll need to compete with OU and LSU in the future.

The morgantown region is on now, wish I wasn't stuck at work and could watch.

Going pretty good. We're in a boring regional. We're the top seed (6) in it, but we're the lowest high seed so we're with #7 Michigan and a host of teams that aren't going to qualify if us and UM fell.
Would really like to WIN it even if finishing top 2 will get us to nationals anyways.

LSU, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Nebraska will be our semifinal group. We'll have to do better than Michigan this time around.

Yep, it's put up or shut up time now. If we go anywhere below a decent 197 at prelims, we're gone and the season's a failure.
Make it to the Super Six and I'll be happy no matter where we finish.

we scored in the 196 point something range. LSU got a 198 point something in the SECT. We will need in the mid 197's to have a chance in natties.

Bump for semifinals tomorrow

We have the 3rd highest average heading into the third rotation. Florida and LSU both killing it. UGA has been bad. It's between us and Michigan for the final spot with Nebraska having an outside shot.
