Nice, URI H/H is a solid one. Even if they drop back a bit will probably be a Top 100/75 game.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about that. Maybe we'll play someone like TCU.

A10 teams seem to give us problems. At least it's not Dayton.

I wish we played a game in Atlanta. Huge amount of talent in that area now. Schedule it the day before the SEC Championship, so fans can spend the whole weekend there.

quote:that's an understatement! How that kid was ever convinced of the notion that he would/could be drafted is a real mystery. If he doesn't lose that lazy streak and learn to mentally bear down, he'll never be more than just another player.
This has to be an humbling experience. Hopefully it makes him a better player.

I really hope it was just a situation where Avery told him to test it and see if he could make the combine to get better and then come back

For as much as we've talked about Myreon Jones and Javian Fleming, neither is putting up great stats in the Under Armour Association.
Jones- 8 ppg, 4 rebounds, 39% shooting
Fleming- 6 ppg, 5 rebounds, 44% shooting
Also they're fourth and fifth respectively in minutes for Team Thad.

What you think they should be averaging lol

For Jones ranking on 247 he should be getting at least 15 points per game.
Fleming's numbers are okay, but I'd rather he be at 7 rebounds.
Both should have higher shooting percentages.
To be fair to them, they are basically guest players on a team full of Memphis area guys who have played together a lot. That's probably why they aren't doing as well as their teammates.

That team is loaded, there are a lot of folks to spread the ball around to.
On a side note, my kid played against a team coached by X-Arkansas legend Al Dillard yesterday. Was cool to get to talk to a guy that was as good as he was back in the day.

That doesn't sound good at all. Wouldn't surprise me if he's gone now....

Staff future is undetermined. Anything is possible with Braxton. Coaches have not heard anything from him for a couple of weeks (unless they heard something this weekend) which does not make them optimistic

For a smart guy, he'd be a pretty big dumbass to leave.

Unless he or his family need money pretty bad right now. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. But yeah he's costing himself millions if he leaves after this year.

One thing about that tho. The coaches hasn't heard from him in 2 weeks, what could he have even told them during that 2 weeks? There wasn't really anything Key could report back and say. They just now are receiving their draft combine invites. Hopefully now he'll get back with them and let them know. I want to find out soon one way or another and get this over with.

Would love an almost permanent home and home with Georgia Tech. Kind of surprised Atlanta hasn't put together some sort of day of games at Philips Arena.

My guess not hearing anything from him 2 weeks means that they have called/texted him and gotten little to no substance in his replies back.

I hope that's not what it means

If the staff is really scared of losing him though, it makes me even more worried that we haven't heard our names mentioned with ANY transfers yet.

What's the story with staff? Is Bob Simon leaving?
