Alabama has been rumored with Ferguson, as the connection with Kenny Trout and Scott Popsichal.

I had the same response.

Avery was never a fast pace guy when he coached in the NBA, but it is hard to be around the game as much as he has been and not pick up on how it is changing.

I wonder when Eubanks will be getting on campus (also wondering if he's officially qualitied yet). I'm guessing that Kessens is in Switzerland.

For college, anything under 24 seconds is extremely fast paced.

Yeah he's still injured from what Johnson said probably a month back.

If he is qualified, I imagine he'll be on campus August 19th because that's when we start classes.

Man if we can win a couple games this year we aren't supposed to, and grab a big name or two in recruiting, we should come storming out of the gates in 2016-2017. Those are big ifs right now, but I like how much heat we are putting on guys like Ferguson and Heron.

Has Coach AJ ever said anything about what playing style he wants for the team? Like uptempo or slow and grind through the post?

Do you think he is gonna fit it to the players or have them play to his system?

It just makes me so happy to see these old players coming around. I think it definitely helps our team to be around Robert Horry. Also wish Antonio McDyess would come visit since he was a No. 2 overall pick back in the day.

This is the one thing that I knew Avery would do. Getting our old greats back involved in the program is awesome. It is one of the reasons our football program will always bounce back from hard times. Having those big named guys around will breed life into the program and feelings of nostalgia will begin to surface.
