A lot of talk on the SEC recruiting board Malik Newman plans to play overseas next year and return the following year for the NBA draft.

Ingram said Sunday that Alabama was still in the picture. A source told AL.com that Ingram met with Alabama coaches in a restaurant in Gulf Shores on Sunday night. According to NCAA.org, a dead period for basketball recruiting beings Monday and runs through Thursday.

After Langford, a guy I really hope we push for in the 2016 class is Brandon Robinson. His mom went to Bama so you would think that opens a door for us.

Article on 247 says Friday. Who knows if that will get pushed back or not. 247 listed that his finalists are Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee or Houston.

He might take a midweek visit to UK.

Kentucky mod said he doesn't think UK will be an option for Ingram if he keeps his Friday timeline.

Well let's hope he decides Friday but as early as last year, Ingram has set numerous timelines about releasing lists or deciding only to push it back.

Here's an article on Jamal Johnson: LINK

I like that Terrance Ferguson offer. AJ has connections all over the Dallas area. He even has SMU on his list, so getting that guy from SMU could be a bonus.

Man AJ wasn't bullshitting when he said he'd be tireless and after the AAU coaching circles to make connections holy moly.

I have 2 friends who both are an AAU coach and assistant (Bham) that said his impact on the whole AAU system in numerous states and coaches so far in a couple weeks is "WAAAAY MORE" than they ever even saw or heard from Anthony.

He also said with the kids theyve seen in the last couple years that 2016 could be a marquee yr in the state of AL and that AJ is preparing to lock it down.

He said he has also been way more visible than any other SEC schools so far.

Rumblings he hears from Ingram are all positive toward Bama (dream scenarios or the kid and AJ made a big impact) but when UK calls its a different ballgame entirely for any of these kids until Bama starts winning and dancing consistently.

He also said expect at least 1 high level and a few lower level transfers after the signing period, lots of kids want the opportunity to play for Avery. He wouldn't allude to who, just smiled

Alabama transfer Ricky Tarrant told ESPN will visit Memphis on the 19th and Clemson on the 24th. Eligible immediately.

Looks like he has his eyes set on somewhere bigger than Texas Southern.

Memphis transfer Nick King told @CBSSports he will visit Ole Miss Saturday. Will also take visits to Alabama and Arkansas later this month.

Ole Miss was thought to be the leader when he first announced he was transferring so if he doesn't commit this weekend, that's a good sign.

Do your friends expect us to lose anyone else? I would hate to lose Taylor or Coleman especially.
