What concerns me is that it's already mid July and we still don't have a commitment for this class. If a lot of the kids we are after wait until the late period to sign we might be caught with our pants down next spring yet again. We really needed to get a commitment from one of the in state kids early so he could recruit the others to come with him.

I thought we had a good shot at both, but I had heard from some UGA guy that follows their bball recruiting pretty closely that a lot of people close to Jackson thought he'd stay in state. Still wouldn't count us out, though.

I think we will get Lee signed in the early period. Coleman is also looking to decide early, and despite what 247's crystal ball says (80-20 AU), I still think we lead. The kid watched and cheered us on during a lot of our games both in person and on TV (actually asked me for a link to watch our games online a couple times, when the games weren't televised) and more importantly I refuse to believe Coleman is that stupid. If he signs with Auburn, he must be getting the same salary as one of their "star" football players.

I'm afraid Lee is gonna go to UAB. Just a gut feeling I have.

If we start losing recruits to UAB, there's a very serious problem.

I think that is where Haas is going, but if they somehow get both, Coleman to UAB might actually become a possibility.

On 247, Mitchell said us and Kansas State talk to him the most. Like every other recruit, he says he has a great relationship with Brannen.

How many are we taking? Also Colemon will decide late is what he said. Around December, is that late lol? Anyway Haas isnt a big deal IMO. He is just another Swede. Grant has to get players that contribute now.

Coleman moved up his commitment time-frame, but it's possible he'll decide late. Says he'll try to commit before football season

Oh shite. I think he is the key. If we somehow get him others will follow.

Just saw Kessens walking around campus. My guess was he's 6'9 215. He's skinny, but not absurdly skinny.

I didn't give him any money.

(Cool Story)

Lance Tejada said he knows he'll be taking official visits to ECU, Murray State, and Bama.

@Future150EricH: 2015 SF Tommy Burton of the Alabama Challenge shows flashes of becoming a big-time HM prospect. 6'8", versatile, solid skill set.

Eric Hampford ?@Future150EricH 24 Jul
Alabama assistant also stopping in to see Riley Norris after checking out Devin Mitchell in the other gym. Crimson Tide multitasking.

William Lee impressing me. Really improved over the past year. One of the best defenders in the class. Jumping jack on the offensive end.
