FWIW, Devin Mitchell said on twitter that a coaching change wouldn't affect his status with Alabama.

He wants to go to UK, though I don't think he'll ever get an offer.
He has an offer according to 247, but that may not be accurate.
quote:
I've read that he likes Auburn more than he likes us. He was on our campus a lot when he was in 8th and 9th grade but I don't remember him coming to any games this year or last year.
Wonder why he hasn't been back recently.

That's good to hear, but i'm pretty sure Grant will be back either way.

Was just looking at our women's team recruiting. I was unaware that Coach Curry has two top 60 players in the 2015 class.

I know Taylor Doan is one, but I can't remember the name of the other girl. Help me out
Never mind, found it. The only disappointing thing is that in this class, a girl from Alabama that was in the top 10 signed with FSU. I thought Curry had a good shot at her.

Is there a better service for women's recruiting than ESPN?

I'm sure there's some grassroots type stuff but ESPN is the only published one I can ever find.

Alabama coach Anthony Grant watched Elijah Thomas tonight. Thomas had 20 points and 11 boards.

God, that would be nice. He's a top ten recruit though, and I'm not exactly seeing any reason for him to leave the state of Texas for Alabama.

Grant and Pettway watched Dazon Ingram today.

Alabama called last night on 2014 Christ the King big man Adonis Delarosa, who is planning on visiting South Carolina & St. John's

While his skills and abilities are that of a 4* now, can we go ahead and lower him to a 2* when he signs so we have realistic expectations of him after Grant has him for 4 years?
Saw this quote by a poster on 247. I don't whether to laugh or cry.

Would love for them to stay but no reason to esp when they are from north alabama area when you have UT and now even Vandy being much more better options. And other better options throughout the SEC

Three days later Davis went for 32 points and 31 rebounds in a loss to Lexington Catholic in the District Championship. Butler coach Brandon Miller and Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory were attendance, as were assistants from Georgia, Rice and Alabama.
“It has been busy,” Davis’ mother Ginger told Scout.com. “I think I’ve expressed this before, but it’s a good kind of craziness.”
But there are still other interested parties. When Davis plays on Thursday to start Region play, there could be upward of 12 schools in attendance.
“Not all of them are confirmed, but Boston College, Notre Dame, Tulane, George Washington, Indiana, Minnesota, Rice, Oregon, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee,” Davis said when asked who inquired about coming on Thursday.
Davis now has scholarship offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Rice, Butler, Florida State, UCF and Vanderbilt. Alabama and Butler were tentatively scheduled for in-home visits on Monday.
Davis took a pair of official visits the first time around, so he has three official visits to work with. According to his mother, they’ll likely some official and unofficial visits when the time comes.
“I think Jonathan [Davis] expressed that we are going to wait until after State tournament even if Jackson’s team doesn’t make it,” Davis said. “Jackson still has things going on through the end of that.”
From Scout on Jackson Davis.

@EvanDaniels: Just finished watching some tape of Alabama commit Justin Coleman. He's quick, has a strong handle & can heat up from deep in a hurry.
