Had 12 hits yesterday. Suchey only gave up 1 hit and no walks, earning the save.

Good sweep this weekend.

Hopefully we can parlay it into a mid-week win as well.

Tonight's game against Troy has been postponed until April 5.

You can't lose if you don't play.

Alabama has Arkansas-Pine Bluff this weekend for a four game series. They are 2-8. Really need another sweep.

Last night's OOC games for the rest of the SEC was pretty brutal.

Georgia is losing 8-4 to Xavier (game was suspended in the 7th inning).

South Alabama buttfricked Auburn 14-3.

Florida Gulf Coast beat Florida 7-3.

Louisiana Tech beat Mississippi State 3-2.

Ole Miss squeaked out a 1-0 win over Georgia State.

LSU lost to McNeese State and Florida lost, again, to Florida Gulf Coast last night.

Yeah those midweek games are a killer. You're usually playing some of your inexperienced, or not quite as good, pitchers while the opposing team will play his #1 guy to good wins.

i doubt a mid major is playing a number 1 pitcher vs bama just to get a win when they have important weekend games they need to win in their conference. I realize we are not in conference play yet

It happens quite frequently. Mid week games are more important for RPI for smaller programs.

Well I wasn't talking about for Bama, but in general for the SEC. Lot of teams right now dropping midweek games.

That's positive to hear after seeing some of their offensive woes!
