Yeah, that could be it. Doubtful though since La Tech was a 15-win team in '14 before Goff, and he ended up getting them to 42 wins and a regional in 2 years.

Goff is having to undo years of the Mitch Gaspard philosophy of hitting. That is "swing at ANYTHING! It doesn't matter if it is a 56' curveball on the first pitch. Get behind 0-2 and then watch that fastball pecker high split the plate for strike 3!"

So it's safe to say we're likely gonna have a losing record this year...I know there's plenty of time to get better, but we can't even beat these little teams, imagine when we start playing teams who are considered good
