The only two who are stone cold locks to go ahead of him as of right now are Barkley and Skeletor

I almost googled Skeletor thinking there was some shite hot QB at a small school by that name then realized you were talking about Bray

the only way I could see him earning a first round grade would be for him to have an amazing year, and probably winning another national title.

With Barkley (USCw), Klein (KSU), Smith, (WVa) and yes, even Wilson (Hogs) I think he stays unless he really blows it out. One of the top 3 QB picks might make him go, but not lower than that.

I think he stays. He's been an Alabama fan his entire life. He should WANT to break records and go down as the most prolific QB in Bama history.

Hopefully the right pieces go out this year, and after his Senior year he can find a way into the first round. He's the the arm, the accuracy, the decision making, and the measurables. Not to mention the leadership. A lot of guys ahead of him this year though.

Geno Smith is not an NFL QB. Will certainly not be picked before AJ if he leaves.

Oh yeah. I've already seen at least five of em on the SECR. He's the third string RB. Not sure who they were expecting to be in. Guarantee he wanted to be in.

He is the FIRST string FB for the I as well we 1st or 2nd string H-back depending on formation. This is backed up by Barret Jones stating that they "consider him a starter" in his post game interview.

The game was in hand by a long shot. Drake and Howell should have been the only people touching the ball out of the backfield from the 10 minute mark out at the latest, probably the entire 4th quarter.

Disagree if you like, you will just be wrong.

I said before the season he leaves, I still feel that way.

Agreed...what more can the kid accomplish? He will be a solid 2nd or 3rd round QB at the very least right now....maybe he gets to combine and Pro-Day and raises his stock. He wont have the stats of the other top QB's but he does have just as much skill as those guys

He isn't going anywhere guys. I think he would have to be a first round pick to leave and he isn't there yet. He could use another year of college to improve his draft stock. He will be back next year.

I think you are underestimating how much teams will reach for a QB. He is a first round pick.

There's no doubt that teams will reach for a QB in the 1st round, but typically there are what, 5 QBs drafted in the 1st round at most?

The 2013 draft class for QBs will be very, very deep: Barkley, Bray, Wilson, Geno Smith, Logan Thomas, Landry Jones just off the top of my head.

If just a few of those are drafted before him, it will push AJ to late 1st round whereas he could wait til 2014 and possibly be drafted early 1st round and make a lot more money.

There's also Murray, I believe.

True, Murray is a 4th year junior like AJ. He has stated in the past that he will play his senior year at UGA but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I don't think he would be projected as high as the others I listed because of his height.

ah, hadn't heard his plan for his SR year.

But you never know what'll happen when NFL money comes calling.
