If he continues to develop and has an outstanding year, I could see his draft status become an obstacle in keeping him at Bama for another year.

Many QB's come back to win a championship or increase their draft stock. With the numbers we lose on the O'line, if AJ has an over the top year I wouldn't blame him if he went pro.

Decent chance he goes, but not a done deal. I'd put money on him staying, but not a lot.

Still got a long ways to go this season. Hopefully he'll be back.

Any word on Fowler's injury? Kept hoping our starters would get pulled earlier than they did. It didn't look good at the time it happened.

I'm just glad it wasn't Cyrus. That's who I thought it was at first.

I hate injuries at the end of the game because so many fans act as if they know just when to take a player out to prevent injury.

There will be plenty of dumbass rantards criticizing Saban for injuring Fowler.

Oh yeah. I've already seen at least five of em on the SECR. He's the third string RB. Not sure who they were expecting to be in. Guarantee he wanted to be in.

And idk about AJ.

Eta: Listening to post game presser and Saban said Fowler will have an MRI tomorrow.

I'm just hating he is injured. Part of the game. Hopefully we will have someone to step up in his abscence. Aj looked sharp..the receivers did and special teams. All in all a good day minus the injury. Ready for arky now.

No way he's gonna get first round hype this year, if ever. And if he don't get first round hype, I don't see him leaving.

If he puts up Barkley like numbers, then we can talk about him leaving.

With 5 Rookie QB's starting in the NFL this weekend, and Matt Barkley probably going 1st QB selected, I would not see him getting picked up till late 2nd early 3rd round. With another good year he might could crack the 1st round

Thats not how it works now though. The new CBA makes QB's that much more important.

The only two who are stone cold locks to go ahead of him as of right now are Barkley and Skeletor so I can definitely see him declaring if he gets a favorable grade.

Reasons he might go pro:
- $$$$$$
- Will have earned his degree
- Chance of injury
- Losing most of his O-line
- Will have 2 possibly 3 rings

Reasons he might stay:
- Grew up dreaming of playing QB for Bama
- Staying and winning another championship would make him one of Bama's all time greats
- Would break a bunch of career passing records
- All WRs and RBs return
- Looking like a deep QB draft class: Barkley, Wilson, Bray, Geno Smith, Logan Thomas, etc...
- Chance to improve his draft grade
- Possible Heisman candidate

I think he'll stay especially with his brother on the team now, but if he gets a high grade all bets are off. I do think he'll have a better chance of going in the 1st round if he comes back because of the number of highly regarded QBs who will be in the '13 draft.
