I’m kinda worried what bowl games they may have. Really don’t want them having our game.

I mean there were like 6 ACC guys on the committee including the chairman. If they had it in for Bama we wouldn't be in.

ACC officials have nothing to do with ACC ADs. Their officials are fricking awful. SEC has a couple really bad crews, but ACC is bad throughout most of theirs.

I agree with OP, give me a P12 crew or something.

they shouldnt even be associated with conferences

Playoff is a separate entity and need to have their own officials or a medley picked by them

I thought the refs in the SEC Championship game were solid. Aside from the Roberts holding call which was obviously not a hold, I thought they let the players decide the game and let some minor stuff go that has often been called in regular Bama games.

Last year Michigan/ TCU had Jason Autry's crew.
Terrible game!

SEC crew won’t call a SEC playoff game but yeah I agree. They were fairly decent by SEC standards

I saw Finebaum actually make an interesting point for once. He noted that Florida State spent this entire off-season proverbially flipping the bird to the rest of the ACC by saying they wanted out and were the only thing holding the conference together. For this reason, it's possible that the ACC reps on the committee, all of whom were from other schools, were not particularly keen to help them out. I wouldn't count on ACC officials inherently favoring them either.

after watching the acc refs refuse to call at least a half dozen pi's against fsu last saturday night, i'm having a hard time believing they weren't straight up bought off. them and the louisville qb.

You'd kinda figure ACC refs wouldn't want an ACC school in the CFP, since having an ACC there, it would prevent them from getting to work games.

I think which conference officials call our game is significant. I have only noticed two conference officials in our BCS or play off games. The Big 12 officials hurt us in a play off game, which we lost, by the way they called pass interference. The PAC officials let us play our game. Based on what I have seen I hope we get the PAC.
