The ones getting upset are the biggest violators. Don't worry, I'm not questioning your TigerDropping Alabama Board Recruiting Thread reputation. I understand when it comes to keeping everyone informed, there are a few who do a great job. But they feel like they run the board. And it's funny seeing them get upset whenever anyone ventures away from the recruiting thread.

It's all about reaching page ____. Get over it. It's just a forum.

Some of you guys are just being overly sensitive about the hallowed grounds of the recruiting thread imo. Someone made a thread for a specific player's commitment on the day he was announcing and the first comment is TS telling him there is a blah blah blah page thread already. Who cares?

This person had a specific question on a specific recruit and was just looking for some conversation and opinions on that sole topic. Not everyone reads the recruiting thread or cares to for that matter. It's the middle of July which means there isn't really anything going on so I don't see what the big deal is for him starting a thread to ask the question he wanted to ask. This is his board too and the board as a whole has been dead lately except for a few threads anyways.

If that player is committing that day, sure. I doubt Bryant or BigBird would tell you that you should only be posting in their threads. It's a message board, just relax and enjoy it for what it is.


You bring a lot of good info to the board and i've enjoyed and appreciate the work you've done over the past couple of years, but there is no reason to let someone starting a thread like this bother you.

Again, if they don't care about recruiting then why start a thread about it?

The recruiting thread is stickied at the top of the board, year round, for a reason. It's an ongoing process. It doesn't disappear during the offseason because recruiting never stops.

You can be a fricking douche about it all you want and that's your right. But don't come in here and try to belittle the few of us that try to keep our fanbase educated our where our players come from.

The fact that you take this so seriously is why you're a joke. I responded to the thread 8 hours later because it was the first time I had been on here all day. I don't live on a message board. I have a real life.
