Got to sweep Missouri this weekend, head into the meat of the schedule next weekend. LSU, Tennessee, Washington and Auburn. With lowly Ole Miss as the only breather.

Bama is now 31-5, 7-3 in the SEC. We've been shut out in 4 of the loses, including all three SEC loses.

Hailey McCleney was a huge spark on offense. Hitting has been sporadic at best since she left. It's definitely not the pitching. We have two of the best pitchers there are in Osorio and Littlejohn. I take my girls out to watch as much as I can and we've only been twice this season but the two times we've been the crowd was small and the atmosphere was nothing like in seasons past. That also could have had something to do with the opponents. I'm hoping we can get out next weekend for the series against LSU and watch them turn it around.

The offense is inconsistent. Bama will probably run rule Missouri in game 2 and win game 3 1-0.

It wasn't off the bat, it was a thrown ball while trying to turn a double play. You may already know that but when I first saw it I assumed it was off the bat which could be more serious. I believe she was treated and released but they didn't mention how she was doing.

Mizzou tied it up in the bottom of the 6th. Now heading to the bottom of the 7th still tied.

I don't think this is a WCWS team. Probably be out out in the Super Regionals.

this current team? No. They would not make it out of supers. With any luck, the team we have in May is completely different. This is where Murph earns his paycheck. I have still have faith.
