I got to thinking, why is worse now to have lost a game like that vs. losing 49-0?

Agreed. Auburn didn't go on to win the title after the Kick 6. But they did after 2010. Kick 6 will be on repeat forever--but that was more of a straight up game. I hate it, but we were gassed. I don't think we beat them in overtime anyway.
We had them dead in 2010. Ingram's fumble, Trent's fumble . .that should have been an Auburn loss, and their last title should have remained in 57.
frick that game. Maybe the worst Bama loss I've witnessed.
