This is the first time I have even lain eyes on this game since the day it was played. Watching the CBS broadcast for the first time (I was at the game) and it becomes painfully obvious we were just one or two plays away from blowing this game wide open in the second quarter. The score could have easily been 35-0 before Auburn scored its first touchdown.

I am prepared for the down votes, but this game is unfortunately an important part of Crimson Tide football history.

This is the only game in my whole time as an Alabama fan that I felt we were paid to lose. I felt like they wanted to keep the State of Alabama championship streak and the SEC national championship streak alive. We played an unbelievable first half and then didn't even look like we wanted to be out there the second half. We probably weren't paid, but it's fishy lol.

I hate this game

It wouldn't suck as bad if Auburn's QB wasn't a punk arse cocky little shite eating' grin yogurt advertising dick weed motherfricker.

So glad Von Miller fricked him up in the Super Bowl. Was the closest thing to revenge I've ever seen.

The losses always stick with me more than the wins, sad to say. I remember four moments keenly well - Richardson stone-handing a wide open screen at the half-inch line, Ingram having the ball punched out and it squirting 30 yards down the field and out of the endzone, Steen standing above a fumbled ball and blocking no one for seemingly an eternity before Fairley recovered it, and McElroy being knocked out of the game via cheapshot. Probably the most frustrated I've ever been as a fan on every level - frustrated with the players, coaches, fans, officials, NCAA, everything.

I really wanted us to rip off a long streak on them starting in 2008 to restore the order, but it never materialized because of this disgusting choke. After the Kick Bama Kick game, I just kind of accepted that we will never get this series back to where it was under Bryant (only 6 losses in 24 seasons). Now that we've put together three in a row, I'm cautiously optimistic. It's tied with the longest Bama streak (90-92) since Bryant's death. Should have been 6 between 94 and 99 because Curtis Brown had his foot down with possession in 95 and Arians never should have called that asinine bubble screen in 97.

I love ya man, but this is one video that will not get a view from me.

Now if you will excuse me, I feel the need to Clorox my brain.

My brother and I went to this game and we sat next to some Auburn fans.

If I remember correctly Auburn got down a bunch of points to Georgia the previous week and came back to win.

So, naturally, we get up a bunch of points and I turn to the Auburn fan (who was cordial) and said something like "Well man, looks like this thing is over. We sure as shite ain't Georgia."

So many fortuitous events happened for AU in this game, but kudos to them for not giving up.

Have to say, as painful as this game was, this was one of the loudest and most electric environments to be in. I really wish BDS was like this every game.

This game really didn't sting that much for me. Championship hopes were already down the drain, and really, I kind of expected them to win about half through the third quarter. We just couldn't do shite on offense, and they were moving the ball pretty much at will on offense. It was a really great game, a classic Iron Bowl. I congratulated the Auburn fans I saw as we walekd out of the stadium.

Actually had a really fun night after the game with my Auburn friends. But I don't hate Auburn as much as most Bama fans.

This game was miles worse than the kick six for me.

It's all a matter of personal opinion, but why was it worse than the kick 6 game? We had no chance of winning any kind of championship in 2010, while the kick 6 game effectively ended a chance for an SECC, and a third straight BCSNC.

Because we'd won 3 titles with Saban by the time of the kick six and the Auburn team with Fairley and Cam was a lot easier to hate than the '13 AU team. We didn't know Saban would rattle off 4 titles in 2010, and adding an in state threat was a lot more frightening then.

The '10 IB hurt a little bit, but we all should have known going in some crazy shite was going to happen. Auburn was pulling out close wins all year and starting slow. The youth in Bama's secondary, plus getting beat up all year on the O-line didn't really make me feel we had any chance. All this game really did was bring me back down to reality and expect Auburn to win it all. I knew Bama would be right back next year with a loaded experienced roster, while Auburn was losing essentially everyone. In terms of painful losses, this one ranks right about where the '08 SECCG does.

This one hurts more then any loss of the Saban era, other the. The NCG loss to Clemson.

All Bama had to do is execute in the 1st half and it would have around 42-0 or 42-7 at the half.

Then Can throws the ball in like triple coverage and somehow they scored a TD on the play in the 2nd half. If Mark Barron had been able to lift up his arms, it would have been a pick.

I still say the Barn used up ten years worth of luck in this one game.

Yeah, this is what made it especially sickening at the time. The program had finally turned around, won an NC, and all of the sudden Our instate rival had fallen into Cam Newton and were in position to do what we did.

That was a rough day. We got to the student section early to make sure we got decent seats, froze our damn asses off for 2 or 3 hours, watched a few AU players taunt the student section pregame, looked like we were gonna rip their hearts out, then it all melted away. Three hour drive back to my parents house for the rest of the weekend and I was fielding calls from AU fricks and other people wondering WTF happened. Id rather watch Kick Six ten times than watch a second of this again.

Every game has it's "game of inches" plays, where a ball is almost tipped, some one just misses a block, etc. But dang Bama should have had a minimum of 35 points the first half alone.
