Pretty hypocritical considering Gronkowski's image. Then again, the modern NFL is anything but consistent. I agree with Datbayoubengal, it has everything to do with on-field production. This is a way that Cleveland gets to "explain" their Johnny Football mistake and move on from it.

i NEVER liked the Manziel hype and laughed when he was catching flack in school for his living the life off. But the guy is out of school, and is on a bye week, who cares if he's partying? I'm sure some multi million dollar execs like to party as well but since they don't do it in the clubs, it's not highly written about.

NFL guys party all the time. This guy is young and living the life while he can. The only reason he is catching heat for it, is because he isn't producing on the field. If this guy ever starts producing, all this crap goes away.
