Anonymous NFL Scout Rips QB Jameis Winston
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports
Florida State QB Jameis Winston didn't do anything to hurt his chances of being a first round pick at the NFL Combine this past weekend. Overall scouts walked away with a good impression of who he is and what he can do, except one scout who ripped Winston. Per via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel...
quote:

Someone will take him in the first round, but how could you even let that guy in the building? The second law of thermodynamics basically is the more ways something can happen, the more likely it is to happen. That’s true of players. The more ways they can (expletive) up, the more chances they (expletive) up. This guy’s got a lot of stuff that would lean him more likely to be a bust than a good player.
Interesting. What do you think he'll do in the NFL?

Winner , yes. Leader , no damn chance . A leader doesn't act the way he does. He is dumber than a box of rocks. He is a very good QB with a lot of talent. He could be great, but again, he could be the next Ryan leaf.

I agree he's got maturity issues, but he's a leader and a winner and will do well in the NFL. Lots of great players in the pro game have questionable character but Winston will do fine.

i hate when reporters/writers/scouts publish something bashing someone as "anonymous". If you're going to publish it, at least have the balls to put your name by it.

No matter what anyone says, Winston is a natural-born leader. Though, he's used that inappropriately and wrongfully at times, he's still a leader. Now, it's tme for him to right the ship. Let's see if he does...oh yeah, then there's the whole football thing.

I see people calling him a thug a lot lately. What do people really want to say when they call someone a thug or tpos(thug piece of sh!t)? Didn't Jameis Winston make the Academic All-ACC football team? I don't think thugs make good grades. I know he made mistakes but for some people to be rooting for him or anyone else for that matter to fail is horrible.

Datbayoubengal, you just named 5 things in college where he was disciplined. You do realize there are quite a few college athletes without character issues that go through their 4 years WITHOUT any disciplinary issues. It says something about you when you know everyone is watching and you still can't help yourself.

@Datbayoubengal That's a lot of words for not a lot of clicks on this link. Heck, I didn't even read it.

Immature kids make great NFL QB's. Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, Vince Young...what's not to love about a kid who displays shitty judgement all the time?

This is nonsense and probably somebody looking to scoop him up. The guy has done nothing but immature kid stuff.

"oh he took crab legs" Please. That store had been giving out free stuff to FSU players for years (somebody didn't get with the program). If taking crab legs is his worse offense, then I think that's easily redeemable (as he already has)

"oh he stole some soda from Mcdonald" Really? Soda in ketchup cups, and he's a thug?

"oh he said f#@k her right in the p#$@y" Lol. Yeah, and so did millions of other kids, grown folks, and college kids. Yelling things from a table doesn't constitute this guy as some thug

"yeah, what about the bb gun thing" BB guns, seriously? Might as well condemn 50% of the male population for that.

"what a about the rape thing" What rape?? The girl changed her story more times than she could remember. There is factual evidence is that she lied several times, about not knowing him prior to the "incident", and how many people she was with that same night. Yeah that innocent til proven guilty thing goes completely out of the window when the public has an agenda.

The guy is just an immature kid. All these high and mighty people talking yet I bet numerous did drugs, smoked cigarettes under age (as early as 14 or 15) drank alcohol under age (as early as 14 or 15), bullied kids, shoplifted, slept around with numerous people (at the same time), got into fights, skipped school, etc. I just laugh at everybody who thinks this guy is the scum of the earth because he does typical childish shite. Grow up people, and stop being huge hypocrites.

He isn't going to have Tallahassee PD to cover his arse and sweep shite under the rug. I think it's going to be a fun ride to watch

He was an entitled thug without money, now with money he will even think of himself as more untouchable....unfortunately, it will be his quick demise.

All you need to see on the guy is when he was suspended for a game, he dressed out anyway without Fisher knowing and stayed on the sidelines dressed.

He's a mental midget and a thug and will disintegrate in 2 years. The NFL don't play with character issues right now.
