Good stuff. can you provide a link? I'd just like to see how much LSU could move up if it goes next season

I think we've had 12 invitations, but vacated 2

No link. I counted it up using wiki

For Ole Miss and UGA I could definitely be off a number or two, as there are quite a few ties.

LSU is tied currently with Wisconsin and Michigan at 21. Wake Forest and Western Kentucky are the only two ahead with 22 appearances.

Arkansas is tied with UConn, Temple, and Marquette at 12th.

Yeah, I did the quick google search myself. Wake Forest has been irrelevant for a few years now, and WKU is pretty meh. I like LSU's chances of moving up

I'm sure Michigan will be back next season

I was guessing it's probably close between them, Kansas and UCLA.

Villanova being that high up is probably the most surprising thing to me on that list.

The tourney drought for Arkansas since 2008 allowed teams to catch up.

In those 6 years Arkansas was passed by Texas(27), Villanove(29), Notre Dame(28), UConn(27), Marquette(26), Temple(26)

Numbers in ( ) are total numbers for teams tied or ahead of Arkansas now.

Yeah, my generation doesn't think of the hogs when it comes to great programs. Obviously that'll quickly change when Arkansas makes another NCAA run

I like what Anderson is doing. Building it the right way.

Keeping one of Qualls/Portis will be key going into next year. Nice young talent on the bench and two ESPN 100 recruits coming in again. Then, likely insert Malik Monk the following year.

It's setting up nicely.

I'm old enough to remember watching us win the title. My first game at Barnhill Arena was with my grandfather when we were #2 and #1 UNLV rocked us. I had to wear ear plugs as a child going to home games.

Arkansas in the dance was nearly an automatic thought for years. I remember teachers in school wheeling Tvs into our classroom during March and watching our games that were going on during school hours.

This. I was in junior high during our back-to-back championship game runs. Our school basically shut down for 2.5 hours if we had a tournament game during school hours.

Yes, and the Monday following selection Sunday was a slow start with a bunch of pissed off people after Arkansas was snubbed by the committee.

Temple is a solid all time program. They don't have all the Elite Eights and Final Fours as others.

They went to 12 consecutive from 1990-2001

They went 6 consecutive from 2008-2013

I think they rank in the top 7 or 8 in total wins all time
