He will likely sign with OM due to seeing the opportunity for early playing time but based on what I've seen Leo is not really ready to play significant minutes in the SEC as a true freshman.

Y'all just lost a first round LB...

True, but we have Richie Brown and Gerri Green ready to play the MLB spot next year. I don't know the OM roster that well but from reading around (mostly from OM fans) sounds like there may be more of an immediate chance for playing time at that spot in Oxford than we have. I would love to have Leo but after watching him in the AL-MS all-star game he didn't look like someone that will be SEC ready coming in. Maybe he just had a bad day though.

Leo will backup senior Christian Russell at MLB. I was very pissed Gerri Green didn't consider us last year. He's a good one.

He could pass Christian by year end possibly. Nyles Morgan is the biggest miss to date in freeze's tenure. Freshman All American :(

I can't fault the kid though. It's closer to home and Notre Dame's alumni network may even surpass #TheNetwork

nobody knows. I'd give OM the lead since he's committed currently, but as someone else said, all of his buddies are going to MSU.

I think LSU is a factor, but see them in 3rd. It's going to come down to signing day.

I've actually been through both this process and played so I wouldn't expect you to understand my vantage point whereas most fans don't.

Not saying State leads by any means but he's been to State more in the past year than LSU/OM combined, plus he had his momma on campus 2 weekends ago.

His mom is all LSU she's made that known multiple times. Thats what we are placing our hopes on. That and his relationship with Frank

LSU has ZERO current LB commitments right now. (Thanks Chavis. We didn't lose any either when he left.) We have that angle to sell him.

There's always a highly rated Mississippi kid who has interest in LSU and then it completely fades away just before NSD. I'll say with Lewis, the smoke this time around has been pretty consistent more so than usual with Mississippi kids, but I'll believe it when I see it.

It's actually kind of comical. They stars aligned perfectly for them and they had a 3 loss season, beat LSU for the first time in 20 years.....and now they talk like they are some up and coming SEC powerhouse. LOL. There is a reason both Mississippi schools did well for them this year.....Auburn, LSU, A&M, Arkansas, and yes Bama, were down this past year...compared to the norm. Ole Miss will have zero offense next year, and State will have zero defense, on top of the fact teams have a lot of film on dak now and he isn't nearly what he was the first half of the year. State will be at the bottom of the West next year. Book it.

It's fkn state dude...jesus, what about that do you not get. You are the perennial worst team in the SEC West, and will be right back there again. You simply don't have the overall talent as the other teams do. I don't see how hard it is for you to understand.
