Who else never believed in Santa Claus?

When I was about 4 my mom told me about Santa Claus.

I promptly looked up the chimney and told her flatly that there was no way a fat man in a red suit could fit down a chimney.

I guess my attitude disappoints a lot of people, but I've always only believed in things I could actually see. Maybe that's why I became an agnostic.

My parents didn't do Santa Claus with me and my sibs. Didn't detract from the magic of the holiday for us, though

And now you've made it a religion thread. Good job

Didn't even read the rest, but he sounds like your stereotypical angry white dude who wants to be special so he says he's an agnostic rather than an atheist.

Bet he's 1/16th Cherokee, too.

Poseurs really.

If you don't know, you can't confirm, if you can't confirm, you can't believe and if you can't believe: Well, we know where that leaves you.

Sort of like the opposite of a juror on a trial.

Before the trial, the person is accused. You cannot say whether or not they actually did it, but they are innocent until proven otherwise.

Similarly, if you're an agnostic, you are undecided, and as an undecided person you can't believe and must wait for more evidence for the "conviction".

Anyway, I love Santa, and I'd build a cult around him.

This is funny to me because this guy has the exact same cadence/manner of telling a story as my friend who is also a Libertarian and has tales of "grandeur" like this one.

Santa-deniers, libertarians, vegans, people who do crossfit, etc. They care more about everyone knowing that they're "different" instead of just living their lives.

Now I know you're a liberal, but you don't have to use this term so loosely.

My parents would go to the trouble of planting bells and other Santa and reindeer things around the house to keep me believing. I can't wait to lie to my kids about Santa, I'm going to make them believe that shite til they're teenagers
