Very interesting matchup against the buckeyes. They are riding high, coming off a 59-0 BIG10 championship win. Meyer to face Saban...flashbacks of BAMA/Florida. Do you think this will be an easy win or do you think OSU will actually give you guys a game?

I think it will be close. Bama wins by 10.

I think Vegas has it right as far as the spread. Bama probably wins by 10-13 pts.

Ohio State will not be able to load up the box like they did against wisky. Bama has a passing threat where as wisky didn't. jmo

Close game until late in the 4th. Usually when the opposing defense breaks after getting 4 quarters of pounding. My biggest concern is 'Bama's db's vs Ohio State's receivers. Front 7 will have to get pressure on Jones.

I rewatched all of their top games this year and they are a very solid team. I think we will have a lot of success running the ball o the perimeter and that will be the difference in the game. When I watched the highlights of Cardale Jones in the Big 10 CG I thought he looked awesome but then when I actually watched the game he looked very shakey at times and not just jitters. I think he will be an easier matchup than Barret. Its looking to be a sort of 34 to 23 type win.

To answer the OP though, I am thinking a 10-14 point victory. The team knows this is for a chance to play for it all and won't lose focus like in the bowl game last year vs OU.

This is an interesting game, because the fact that there is little meaningful film on Jones is definitely an advantage for OSU, with Saban and SMart being the film nuts they are.

With the way OSU's offense changed during the transition from Braxton Miller to JT Barrett, there is really no telling what they may see out of OSU's offense come game time.

On the other side of the coin, Bama is going to bring exotic blitzes and make Jones read zone coverages that he hasn't seen before. How he reacts to them determines the game.I think he turns it over at least twice.

I have Bama winning it but wouldn't be shocked if OSU pulled the upset, they have talent.

Meh, the little advantage they get out of that will be greatly overlapped by his lack of meaningful game experience and overall agility. While he is athletic for his size he isn't anywhere as nimble and therefore not much of a threat in the running game. Furthermore on some of his roll outs he seemed slow to reset his feet to make the throw. He will make some plays no doubt, but he will also give up a few sacks, make a good bit of poor throws by being hurried. They really need the running game of Eze to come through an assist this offense in the worse way. As well as to connect on a few of those deep balls that Bama likes to give up.
