Westside BBQ in New Albany.. Take 78 to New Albany... Exit onto Hwy 30 West towards Oxford... It's on your right side 2 miles after you take the exit... Drive another 25 miles down Hwy 30 and you're in Oxford.

Get Neon Pig, if you are over night go to KOK. Best food in Mississippi.

For BBQ, Romie's has the best. Most people have never tried their BBQ but it is hands down better than anything else in town.

Are you making fun of Tupelo's food options? That's low hanging fruit.

It really isn't, Tupelo has some of the best food in the state. Go to KOK downtown and if you find a better place in Mississippi I'll pay you a thousand bucks. Bookmark it and call me on it if you don't believe me.

You did this thread just to make me sad didn't you. Was looking forward to getting Corky's tonight, only to find that the location here is closed.
Damn you man. Damn you.

KOK is great. James Earl Jones burger is fantastic.

For BBQ for tailgate I would go with Bishops. Get the Jazzy sauce.

Tupelo has like 5 non-chain restaurants. I haven't tried KOK, honestly hadn't even heard of it, but that's because it's only been open for a year. I'll give it a shot next time I'm in Tupelo. Last time I was downtown was to see a show at cafe 212? Downtown Tupelo was sparse, lots of empty buildings.

North Mississippi Restaurant Reviews

A Facebook page that has good customer reviews. Ask there and you will get some suggestions.

Romie's is good. I like Neon Pig. KoK is good, but a little too hipster for me. Gabriel's on Gloster is off to a good start.
