Abortion ubiquitously accepted before viability unless extreme circumstances are present.

What is viability?

Also when Christians use the "god hates abortions", and then makes exceptions for rape, incest and ectopic pregnancies, the argument falls on its face.
If god didn't think abortions were something humans should ever do, he wouldn't allow a world where women are even put in that situation. It's retarded.

1. Abortion....
C. Should only be legal in case of medical necessity. If we decide abortion is morally reprehensible, making an exception for rape is intellectually dishonest.
2. Life begins...
C. Somewhere in the second trimester. This is when higher level frontal lobe function begins developing (essentially what makes us "human"), as well as the earliest point at which a fetus is viable outside the womb (around 24 weeks).
3. People who disagree with my opinion on abortion are...
Q. Depends on what their position is. I generally question the character of people ok with late-term abortion, and I question the knowledge of people who believe life begins at conception.

That is quite possibly the most asinine thing I have ever read.
If this was trollbait, I'm guilty of biting. Wow.

While I agree in the case of rape and incest, the ectopic pregnancy argument is logically sound. If the pregnancy is allowed to continue, there is a high probability both mother and child die. When the only choices are two deaths vs one, then you are forced to go with the option that saves a life.

This is just a fancy way of asking "why does God allow bad things to happen" and it's a poor argument against him.

What is viability?
23-24 weeks with very aggressive and high quality care, 28-30 weeks without any hospital care.

What if Mary wasn't the first women God immaculately impregnated and he had just cosmically aborted all the prior ones because he couldn't handle the commitment.
Try that one on for size OTB.
