Jeff Ermann ?@insidemdsports 1h

Hearing rumblings Isaiah Briscoe and Antonio Blakeney could end up a package. Kentucky and Missouri are possibilities if it happens.

So Antonio Blakeney is a package deal with Isaiah Briscoe, Malik Newman, and Ben Simmons, all at the same time. Package deals lulz.

ETA: Isn't Briscoe a heavy lean to St.John's?

In the last interview I read from Rivals Briscoe said he was wide open right now. He told Rivals he's visiting October 10th with Blakeney. Briscoe had an in home with Mizzou on the morning the contact period reopened.

Ulis will very likely share reps with Harrison but NBA teams flat out aren't looking at him because of his size. He's a hell of a player though. I don't know if he'd opt to stay in school or try to get picked up (I don't necessarily see him getting drafted).

As far as the rest, there's absolutely no telling. Never would've convinced me we would've had everybody but Young and Randle come back this season. And I think there's probably some players waiting to see what happens before committing.

You have one spot available. Good luck with that package deal.

Regarding the scholly count, this is my understanding: we have 1 now and 2 seniors. We have one that will get his degree this year and will be told to transfer with immediate eligibility after this year. We have one that doesn't like to play defense and the coaches have basically hinted he will be finding another school after this year. That is 5, plus we have 2 up in the air due to a weekend fight. So we have 5 to 7 available next year on how things look right now.

Other sites have talked about Blakeney to Mizzou for about 3 or 4 weeks. Briscoe to Mizzou has been talked about for 1 to 2 weeks. It appears most of the people in this thread get their info from 247. They are the last ones to hear anything Mizzou related. Just to be clear, nobody has said we are locks, just that we are in it over that period of time.

Right now the most buzz around our recruiting involves Blakeney, Briscoe, Bryant, and Kapita. Any of those will be takes and we'll make room if need be.

Mizzou and LSU certainly haven't been afraid to get their hands dirty lately.
