Could you hit a home run at a major league park with BP pitchers?

As much as I'd like to think I could, I couldn't.
Maybe 10 years ago.
However, I can still dunk a basketball, and hit a drive 300 yards.
I'm 38.

I could pull one down the line but I'm not too far removed from playing

Nope. And anyone who says they could are full of it unless they played college ball.

With a wood bat, no chance. Not going to be a lot of honesty in this thread.

I hit one HR in HS when we were getting ten-run ruled
So no, I could not hit a HR at a major league ballpark being pitched BP.

I hit numerous home runs on a minor league field with wood.
So to answer your question....yes, yes I could.

There's the rub. I remember back in the day playing Legion ball and hitting them out everywhere, lots of us.
Then we go to the wood bat tournaments and it's all fly balls to left. Those tourneys almost always turned into a "I'm gonna be the first to hit one out" tournament. Only a few of us did.
A pitchers dream.

You da man! Throw me a super ball and I'll get it out at deep center, I'm 55 and can still lay on my back and kick up on my feet, not as easy when I was 38 but can still do it.

I could never do that.
I'm way too long, lots of moving parts.
JoMo, do you post on TB? Also, are you allowed access to the Mizzou board. If not, request it.
I don't care for your politics and religion, but I like the cut of your jib regardless.

Yeah I'll never dunk a basketball, can palm one and could touch the rim, I'm gonna need a tramp.

Good question. Probably not with a wooden bat, but it's all about bat speed. If I got 1000 pitches I might could get close. With a metal bat, I feel pretty confident I could.
ETA: If you can hit a golf ball 300 with any regularity, I'd say if you saw enough pitches you could get close too.

Nope because I dont think my swing would allow it. I always had Charlie Lau, Gary Ward swing and took everything oppo, even in slow pitch..

Nope. Always had a great batting average and no home runs
