No, he can't. Not in the SEC.

O that's right, you guys have Dooley. He's way better than Solich.

I guess we should defer to the knowledge of a Kentucky fan about football coaches.

Feel free to go after Solich after this year, though. Not like it could hurt.

UT fans are not the ones who hired DD so dissing on the fans for the demise of UT football is pretty lame..Some UK fan singing the praises of Solich shows me you dont know SEC football..Would you want someone like Mark Gottfried trying to ressurect your basketball program if it was in the dump..I dont think so..Same analogy in my opinion.

What difference does it make which team your a fan of? The guy can flat out coach and has done much better than many other coaches including those in the SEC. If you were not paying attention last year, then I'll remind you.

Kentucky Football is better than Tennessee football as of right now. As bad as Joker sucks at being a head coach, he's that much better than Dooley.

I would love to have Solich as a head coach. I'm not sure he could recruit very well at Kentucky but If he's winning at Ohio, I'm sure he could win anywhere including the SEC.

No, he can't. He was given the keys to one of the most dominant programs of all time at Nebraska and they became a 7-9 win team within a few years. He's also like 70 years old. It should tell you something that he never gets mentioned for any jobs anywhere. Those people, more often than not, know what they're doing.

Not sure if this serious, Solich is Nebraska's version of Shula or Debose. He was a homegrown promotion who inherited a dynasty.

He actually reminds me a lot of Bill Guthridge at UNC following Dean Smith. Guthridge was a decent X's and O's coach but he was a terrible recruiter that left the cupboard completely bare for Doherty.

This is an excellent comparison

Solich has a chance to get a season opening win against Penn State

He couldn't win in the Big 12. You do realize he was fired at Nebraska, right?
