Multiple sources that Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen has interviewed for the head coach opening at Miami. Per The Clarion Ledger:
quote:

According to the report, Miami have also interviewed former Hurricanes coach Butch Davis and former Rutgers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano as well. The school will also talk with former Georgia coach today. Mullen would have to buy out of his contract, something the other three candidates don't have to do.

If Mark Richt wants the job he will get it. Richt is a Miami Alum I do believe.

Good move for Mullen but teams this year have set the bars low for new HCs.

It'll be a smart decision for him to leave now. Usually teams that lose a heisman level dual threat, they fall hard the next year because they have to replace around 70% of offensive production.

Great thing is that everybody else around Prescott should he back minus WR Wilson maybe
