The LSU coaching staff landed their 5th commitment in as many days when three-star offensive guard Saahdiq Charles from Madison, MS announced that he has committed to the Tigers.
The 6-5, 313-pound prospect from Madison-Ridgeland Academy chose LSU over Mississippi State.
Charles, a New Orleans native displaced after Hurricane Katrina, gives LSU's their 12th verbal commitment for the class of 2017, and third offensive lineman in the class to go along with Edward Ingram and Austin Deculus.
