Davon Godchaux's Suspension Has Been Lifted

New interim head coach Ed Orgeron joined the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday and said that the suspension of defensive lineman Davon Godchaux has been lifted.

Godchaux was arrested early Sunday morning after a "tussle" with his girlfriend but the charges were dropped on Tuesday. Per The Advocate:

"We're happy the charges have been dropped. Davon is an excellent young man," Orgeron said Wednesday on the SEC teleconference. "He'll return to the team today. We'll take it day-by-day. We'll make sure we have all of the information available before we make any other decisions, but he will be with the team today."
