The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation has added five new receivers to Biletnikoff Award Watch List, including junior LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Malik Nabers was included on the initial list released in August.

Thomas leads the nation in receiving TDs with 8. He’s coming off an 8-catch, 124-yard, 3-TD effort vs. Ole Miss. Nabers ranks No. 2 in the nation in receiving yards (625) and No. 5 in receptions (40). Nabers has caught a pass in 23 consecutive games.

Nabers and Thomas have each gone over the 100-yard mark for receiving yards in consecutive games. It’s the first time in school history the same players have had back-to-back games with 100 receiving yards.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award. As such, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football's outstanding receiver, not merely college football's outstanding wide receiver.

Receivers added to the list today include:
Luther Burden III, Missouri
Xavier Legette, South Carolina
Robert Lewis, Georgia State
Brian Thomas Jr., LSU
Malik Washington, Virginia

He’s really impressed me with his YAC. Very twitchy for a tall dude.
